Wish exhausts were this easy to remove in Northern Wisconsin. PB blaster and a breaker bar can't beat the effects of roads salted 1/3rd of the year.

Hello, I currently have an Invidia mid pipe installed on a stock exhaust Lexus IS250 2012. Not happy with the results from just adding the mid pipe and plan to have a custom Magnaflow axle back added this Saturday. Thoughts on adding the custom axle back to mid pipe and would it be wise to take down the Invidia pipe and just go with the custom Magnaflow? Thanks

i have an 01 focus zx3 that i bought 2 1/4 inch performance cat back exhaust for. will this bolt directly to my stock catalytic converter?

do you have to get the whole exhaust system or you can just get the muffler like you installed it before you changed the rest?
Is there a specific torque u need to tighten the bolts in the exhaust system too? Or did u just tighten them until they wouldn't budge ? I know that lug nuts in wheels need to be tighten to a certain measure i was wondering if the same applies?
looked like i was a relatively new o2 sensor too, not a fan of putting anti seize on when putting them back in though?

Love shopping with your store-QQ/ I didn't see you use any anti seize? Also, exhaust shop last told me they have to weld together units now due to emissions..?? How would I get proper parts for custom type set-up? Rx7 w/ sbc350; headers connected with driver to pass to single pipe to rear axle split into dual muffs: 3" after headers back

I have a issue with my custom exhaust. I had a bassani muffler added with custom exhaust work and a y pipe for dual exhaust at the bumper. I love the sound but at 2500/3000 rpm I get droning. I want to quiet it without losing the tone of the system. Any advice on handling it? I have a 2003 ford escape v6.
You mentioned fuel economy at the beginning. Wouldn't better exhaust flow boost MPG?

My exhaust system is behind my bumper (06 Corolla CE). I am wondering how I could install an exhaust system with the bumper not having a cut out for a exhaust to stick out from. You would have to look up a 06 Corolla to see what I mean. My friend has a Cobalt and has the same kind of OEM exhaust style. But has a better exhaust installed now. The exhaust I am looking at is the Spyder Cat-Back Exhaust System. It is for the 03-06 Corolla. Please tell me how I could adjust the height of the exhaust.

in reality, you dont get much gain from a cat back, the important part of your exhaust is your downpipe and your exhaust manifold. those parts are what take the brunt of the force of air that is trying to leave. the smoother and more volume of space, the higher the response you get.

I disagree with a lot of stuff you said in this video, starting with an aftermarket exhaust is definitely not the way to go to improving performance, especially a cat back, only benefit it would give is noise.
If you want performance, you need to decat, replace the manifold/header if NA, and remap the ecu,
Even with a whole load of other mods on a car a full engine back exhaust will see about 10bhp at the most, with no other mods id be surprised if you felt the difference, maybe even lose a bit of torque in low revs.
I would have though a specific motorsport store would know stuff like this
What metal makes the tip of the exhaust turn blue? I know it does this b/c of heat. But what metal. Stainless?
Pretty much any metal can change color with heat. Most exhaust systems that feature this bluing come that way from the manufacturer. Check out www.andysautosport.com to see if we have this "burnt tip" look for your vehicle. Thanks for watching!

I just wish I could find one that fit my Integra db1. The muffler is sideways in the back and the exhaust is turned 90 degrees

Thanks to movie magic the O2 censor comes out real easy here, but I get to sandwich my finger between my deadblow hammer and the catilitic converter of my truck -_-

What if you DONT want sound? Hearing all those obnoxious idiots with loud ass cars makes me definitely not want to even touch my exhaust. What do?
This is stupid. Exhaust systems sound nice but they don't do anything by themselves. They allow more air to flow but your engine doesnt need more airflow unless you do other mods. You can't just go with an exhaust, you get an exhaust system to let more air flow to accommodate some other engine mod you do.
By adding a exhaust and maybe an intake if your stock one is restricting then you actually will get more power because your vehicle is burning fuel more efficiently which means better gas mileage as well. I do agree that the exhaust alone won't do much, but with a simple $150 intake you will notice an increase in power.
