Access built in Tachometer on Yamaha WR250X

US spec WR250X requires you to ground a wire in order to let you access the CO settings and built in tach. This video shows you how to do that so you can adjust your CO settings or Idle RPM.

Can you explain how adjusting the CO works? If I want my bike to idle better what do I look for and then fine tune? I have a power commander and auto tune as well...

raise your idle rpm to 1650.
dont mess with the co unless you have an oxygen sensor.
make sure the 0% throttle column is empty in the pc5

So that shows you the rpms? Why wouldn’t they just sell the bike like that instead make it so complicated to find that mode?

its for diagnostics purposes only. you shouldnt ride the bike with the rpm displayed
