How the mighty fall… Jesus to think this station was once a bustling junction…eerie to see it so… quiet
I love this station and the west of England mainline never went past Axminster though :(
Great video👍
Thanks 👍
Great video
Thanks!
Nice railway video
Thank you very much!
There are two platforms is because dated back until Sunday 11th June 1967, the railway 🚃 track 🛤️ 🛤️ had 2 tracks 🛤️ 🛤️ that it was singled is because it’s a rural railway 🚃 station 🚉 in Templecombe, Somerset in the south of England 🏴. I am doubt that the railway 🚃 track 🛤️ will be doubled at Templecombe railway 🚃 station 🚉 because the platform has covered over the former railway 🚃 track 🛤️ at Templecombe railway 🚃 station 🚉. Going west of Templecombe is to Yeovil Junction via Sherborne has a double track 🛤️ 🛤️ which it’s good 👍. Train 🚊 company is SWR - South Western Railway 🚃 using class 158s and 159s DMU - Diesel ⛽️ Multiple Units. Only one ☝️ platform is used at Templecombe. SWR - South Western Railway 🚃 runs its services everyday and public holidays except Christmas 🎄🤶 🎅 🧑🎄 Day and Boxing 🥊 Day. 👍👍👍
Do you know what the speed limit is through the station for non stop services ?
I have noticed that SWR has made a subtle change to their colours. They probably thought white wasn't quite ideal But this i enjoyed nonetheless.
I don't understand why there's a single track on such a busy line, and why it opens onto double track only after the station. (Also: How can a parent let his kid be on a platform without constantly holding his/her hand? 4:05 )
U have a point its kinda annoying that I will have to wait up to 2 whole hours if I want to Go past Salisbury to places like Yeovil Axminster and exeter due to alot of the week beyond Salisbury being single track
