Great stuff, Erwan. Kevindra is very knowledgeable. But who came up with your glossary, a Malay? Some of those would be met with confused looks in Jakarta. Try these:
Mushrooms = jamur instead of cendawan
Crab = kepiting instead of ketam
Salted fish = ikan asin instead of masin
Red chillies = cabai/cabe merah instead of merah
    And bonus: pig/pork = babi
Looking forward to the next video!

Pete=Peh-teh, not peh-taih, which is the Malaysian way of saying it. Cendawan never used in Indonesia. I would have recommended Jengkol, pete's bigger cousin

The vocab is a little weird, but your genuine appreciation is lovely. Try out more pork dishes as we have those as well. The religious barrier is quite strong, but we try to play nice to each other.

Jakarta, finally! I've been there once and it was weird to plan what to eat and where, simply because there wasn't an Overnight episode for Jakarta yet that I could get ideas from. You just don't know how much Overnight has helped me when I visited cities like Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, and Fukuoka. I might do a Jakarta round 2 because of this. Thanks a lot Erwan, looking forward to more episodes, and more power to you!
