@bodyofhope I had another look. The make-up was extremely specific. So, in this clip, some models had obvious make-up while others had none, but also, each look appears to be different. It's honestly beautiful. I think this is in line with the theme of projection - the beauty of each model is projected, individually. ❤️
The biggest fashion houses aren't developing fashion as these lesser celebrated designers. They move the craft and legend of the field to the future. So criminally underrated.
Bubble wrap silk is so cool and fun, I love for this kind of stuff. I mean I live for fashion in general and I love everything from the practical to the abstract funky designs (that may or may not be wearable) to the innovative ideas people have. However, seeing such an interesting way to use fabric to create a really cool and wearable piece just brings such joy to my silly little life.
I'm gutted, I had a beautiful Helmut Lang coat, saved up for it and felt crazy but made me so happy...at a News Year's Eve party it was stolen...I still curse the wearer.
The fact it’s made out of silk is impressive and funny…designers themselves and even commentators such as yourself wear quiet understated luxury but loathe when others don the same comfort look lol so what can be said about those who dress outlandish or “interesting”? (Or more precisely, have stylists dress them such a way). Could it be the more they do, the less substance there is to the person? The only reason to pay the slightest attention to fashion is to more effectively be anti-fashion which is more fashion than fashion.
Proenza was way more Helmut Lang than this. Peter must step up his game this starts looking like a tribute band appointment and not as impactful or worthy as his namesake gorgeous brand 🪬

I can promise you Luke does not tailor to mainstream. Everybody has their own opinion, I tend to agree with Luke, and just because you don’t, doesn’t mean he’s tailoring to mainstream. He criticized the ss24 collection

Beautiful. I remember years and years ago, Helmet Lang did white body conscious stuff, and there was often that sheer white silky areas.

Same. This was just a repeat of the 90's and done better then. I don't see anything new or innovative apart from the diversity of the runways models.
