    Well one thing is for sure.......George Lucas certainly didn't take the easy route!!! I mean can you imagine how much easier the chase scene between Kenobi and Grevious would have een if they were both just riding in basic speeder bikes? Instead he went for a dragon/reptile hybrid mount and a basically a 3D unicycle

      Specifically the Anakin-obi-wan battle, I think there is good and bad in the finished product. Like, sometimes the concept art had a better feeling maybe? Sometimes the movie is too clean compared to the scrappy ruins and smokiness of the concept art. Sometimes the concept art is more expansive and minimal, and they should have kept that.

    • @knallekalle9920

      I would go even further, and just *NOT* have made TPM. Adult Jedi Anakin Skywalker is vastly different from 10-year old old slave boy Anakin. The Prequels should have explored Obi Wan and Anakin's friendship, but what we got left a lot to be desired. They interact more with Qui Gon than each other in TPM, and we are only told about their adventures in banters in both EP2 and EP3. Doesn't George understand that it's better to show us, than tell us?
      Also, every character is an idiot in the Prequels, just to make Palpatine seem very smart. Anakin shouldn't be stupid and tricked into going bad and joining Palpatine, when he orchestrated the Clone Wars conflict. Palpatine shouldn't be the puppet master of the CIS, and thus both Dooku and Grievous could shine as compelling villains. ROTS should have been a tragic story, but it failed, since the build up is so sloppy, and everyone is stupid as fuck.

    • @pandinus1377
      @pandinus1377 Před 5 lety

      @@knallekalle9920 well yeah, the main villains should have been just dooku and grievous, maul was there just to be the bad guy of one movie and thats it, at least grievous was the general of the opposing army so he should have definately appeared in ep 2.
      Instead he just shows up in ep 3 without introduction.

    • @knallekalle9920
      @knallekalle9920 Před 5 lety

      Grievous had potential as a character and also as a theme of "Machine/Technology vs Nature/The Force". The Force doesn't make you an invincible, and Grievous is THE proof of it. Dooku had something going on in Attack of the Clones, but then he's killed in the first 15 minutes of ROTS. Also, he's stupid for joining Sidious, since Maul killed Qui Gon.
      There was so much potential for interesting themes and characters, but the execution was so lackluster.

    • @animaxindustries
      @animaxindustries Před 5 lety +5

      Nah, as cool as it is by itself, the stories have always been classical. They're fantasies of old, operas in space, and so it needs classical music to accompany those ideas and themes. Synthesizer is perfect for something like Blade Runner, or Terminator, movies that deal with the future but are not classical in their sense. Blade Runner is a film noir in the future, a genre which is quite modern. Terminator is sci-fi, also a quite modern tale. When it comes to space wizards, space farmers that go on to become knights that save the princess, John Williams' Orchestra is perfect
