Thank you for confirming my reason to buy this. I just bought the drill combo with impact. Also picked up a 6.0 M12 battery. Haven't had a chance to use them yet but they sure look pretty in that hard shell case. Great video quality as well! Thanks!

I have a fairly full range of M18/M12 tools? The size and competent power of this small tool makes it go to and most used. (Not a substitute for the big boys but? They sure aren’t a substitute fo it either.)
Note: The non-Fuel version is a way lesser league....this one!
Sure enjoy your style (and well done).

I like how he puts the blade in with his finger on the sharp edge. Might be wiser and easier to hold the blade on the sides when installing. :P

Are the m12 batteries for the brushless fuel model the same as the brushed models? I have the Mini Milwaukee 3/8" drill driver in the m12 lithium ion setup. Was wondering if I could use the same batts.

m12 batteries work in all m12 tools regardless if it is brushed or brushless.

I was wondering since your post was two years ago, do you know the difference between the sawzall and hackzall?

Looks like a nifty tool, but I don't think it can do its job better than the old Ryobi 18V recip that I already own!

Is the fuel better that the brushed version?

Milwaukee has three lines brushed, brushless, and "FUEL Brushless".... Brushed is cheaper to buy, they don't last as long out of the box before needing repaired, but the brushed motors can be repaired easily, and brushed motors in the long-term are more a reliable proven design.
Brushless motors of any line, make, or model last longer out of the box before needing repaired, however when they do die they CAN NOT be repaired when they die they die for good. Brushless motors take less battery power, so things like circular saws, grinders, table saws, and other power hungry things get more work done on the same battery charge than the brushed version. Brushless motors also have more power so in many cases they are the only real way to replace corded tools. Brushless motor tools cost more money to buy than brushless... As for the Milwaukee specific brushed vs brushless vs FUEL Brushless. I already explained the difference between brushed and brushless. But the difference between Brushless and "FUEL Brushless" (and yes all "FUEL" tools are brushless). The normal Brushless is Milwaukee first generation brushless they are fine tools and get the job done. I have both a brushed and brushless non-fuel M18 circular saw, and the brushless non-fuel wonderful so much more run time on the battery than the brushed totally worth it. The non-fuel brushless saw was about $250 when I bought it tool-only, while the brushless "FUEL" circular saw was $420 tool-only. So quite a bit cheaper. The Brushless "FUEL" tools from Milwaukee are second generation or later, and if it says "FUEL" then Milwaukee is claiming that they have reproduced "corded power" with a cordless tool (in RPM ,tourqe, ect, ect). Where as non-FUEL brushless is just a brushless tool with no extra claims over the corded version.
Brushed vs Brushless which is better? Is really is a situation of what tool are we talking about? Some tools are better brushed others are better brushless. I can tell you that the m12 hackzall is better brushless (I own both), also the circular saws M18 or M12 (I don't think there is a brushed M12 circular saw, I forget). Either way when it comes to any kind of power hungry saw brushless is the way to go especially on the M12 line.
