Banjo Tooie Re-Jiggyed | Witchyworld

- Witchyworld is the third level in Banjo-Tooie. It is a rundown, decrepit theme park with broken, dangerous rides and other unwelcome attractions. It had such a bad safety record it was closed down some time ago. It is run by deranged and hostile employees that will attack anyone on sight, as well as perverse purveyors running the unsanitary food stands. Witchyworld also has strict constraints on taking out food off of the park's premises. Any food that Banjo and Kazooie try to sneak out of Witchyworld is immediately confiscated, unless a certain route is taken.
The park is divided into four sections, not counting the entrance or Big Top; the Space Zone, the Haunted Zone, the Wild West Zone, and lastly another space-based zone called Area 51. Each "Zone" has different scenery and attractions. The Space Zone has the Saucer of Peril, Dodgem Dome, and the Star Spinner. The Wild West Zone has an inflatable bouncy castle called the Crazy Castle and the Cactus of Strength. Finally, the Haunted Zone has the Dive of Death, the Inferno, the train station, and a freak-show consisting of an "Ancient Bearded Camel", a "Mighty Evil Dinosaur", and a "Weird Killer Alien". However most of the rides are out of service, and require a jolt of electricity from Mumbo to jump start them.

Project Dream has come out of retirement to produce a special one-off video! Unlike previous ‘Remaster’ videos this one is more of a ‘reimagining’, it’s a complete rebuild and remodel from the ground up but keeping with the same original layout. This one has been requested from the start of the channel, and with the continued growth of views and subscribers over the past year I thought it was time for a little update. Hope you enjoy!

This is not just an incredibly cool concept but it's actually sinister and creepy too! The little details like the crashed van near Wumba's, that horrendous clown thing across from the Inferno, the giant roller coaster and everything else just seems to imply Banjo and Kazooie lost and Grunty is stronger than ever. This is amazing!!

This is honestly insane! Witchyworld is one of my favorite levels of Banjo-Tooie. The fact that this is a reimaging and you guys rebuilt everything from the ground up is mind blowing! I also had to watch a few times to take in the high quality of the textures and details! It's breathtaking!

You are fulfilling my literal dream on here. From the moment I heard about project dream I scoured the corners of the internet trying to find the music for it, and eventually got my hands on the full unreleased ost. Ive always wanted to bring light to rare’s past aspirations, this is genuinely incredible to me that you’re doing what you do
this world was so amazing and great.
the only complaint i had even back then was: why is there not more. seriously this world could be twice the size it is and id still love it.
the only thing i thought was a little lame was the big tent in the middle just holds the boss and nothing else.
but this world is just... its amazing. i love it.
I love Witchyworld in Banjo-Tooie, always been a favorite of mine, and seeing this re-imagining sparked that memory in me. I remember some years back, there was a leaked list of a bunch of MS/Rare games, amongst them was a Banjo-Kazooie game with the working title of "Grunty-Land". I don't know if it was real or not, but I always kept thinking/hoping that it was an expanded concept of this level, where it's a giant, dark, twisted theme park with different levels having different themes a la Disney or Universal, bonus levels would be different rides you'd have to survive to get rewarded for, bosses would be presented as big top styled live performances, the works.

Hey, i love how you adapt all the world into something looking more detailed, unlike others that just make them look realistic but feels empty or a lack of without essence.
This was so well done. It's definitely creepier than I expected but it also shows how perfect this series would be if it were remade.

The tic et stand, the additional run down atractions, the much more futuristic space world, the more themed western world, the cacte, the overabundance of pine trees fitting with the outside Pine Groove was a great atmospheric choice
And those laternposts with Grunty flags connected it all so well to one big theme park

The only thing I’d say is that in the music some of the classic carnival instruments that make up the soul of the track are lost, you really need some of that stuff to make it feel right

Although very well done, I do miss a little bit of it being to scale. I always love your work regardless. The world did feel a little bit cramped in this depiction. Still, amazing work and fantastic music from Dark Grunt. I'd love to see a ground-up full idea with your creative freedom on a Banjo Threeie world
