  • In today's video we review the new R6 UHB Monitor by Desview. It features an impressive 2800 nits of brightness making this a field monitor you can actually use on bright and sunny days. It's also packed with useful features and has an amazing touch screen as well, making it one of our favorite monitors right now.

    • @47roo
      @47roo Před 2 lety

      The rode video mics (I have the mk1 video mic pro) have a supercardioid pickup pattern which means they do pickup a short distance behind the mic too. I have an Atomos Ninja V and I have found the fan noise to be a real problems with run and gun documentary shooting. Hence looking for something else. I don't use the recoding functionality on the Ninja V as much as I thought I would be the brightness of it mean I really don't want to go back to my original cheap monitor. This could be a good option as at lower brightness the fan could be off.

    I have a problem and cannot find a solution to it. While I can use the swipe up/down gesture to increase/decrease the brightness of the screen, it immediately resorts back to the automatically set brightness (from the light sensor) as soon as I lift my finger from the screen. I have absolutely no manual control over the brightness. If I point a torch onto the light sensor, it does automatically increase the brightness. To me it appears that the only thing that actually works if the fully automatic process, not the manual one.
    Am I doing something wrong here? Does your device operate the same way? Can anyone help?

This is a deadly issue because most of dslr when output to a monitor through HDMI they also mute disable their headphone jack so the monitor's jack is the only option.
