@@mrhumble2937 They aren’t casinos. They are card rooms. Legally they are classified as “Social gaming clubs”. It’s our loophole in Oregon law to have poker without being inside a tribal owned casino.
The card room makes their $20 door, plus food drink etc. The dealers are technically “volunteers” who work on tips.
Very similar to Texas laws only there is no hourly rate. It’s a daily rate.
@nicholi2789 so $20 to get in door. And no free drinks. I just don't see how jt can be that profitable. Guess not paying dealers anything but dealers in AC only get like $4 an hour.

honestly I hate to slow play after flopping the nuts, in no scenario is the other guy gonna ever catch up when they have no aces so just show aggression right away build the pot is better than slow playing, which is actually showing strength as soon as you start betting

You bet heavy then look at your cards right after? That doesnt come off as confident that you have a good hand, then you bet a chip but say not its full value, I would've called that
Big bet rule: Big pocket pairs you must have against blind all-in, otherwise you're all-done.
Way too many people playing 7-2 and getting rewarded for it.
