It’s a beauty of a hide and so intimate with the wildlife. It looked great in the weather also. Rain also adds a bit of a different look and aspects to images.
I totally agree with you, rain brings a sense of drama to the photos and every shot on the day was something different to the shots we achieved in August 👍🏻

Happy new year guys, as always another very entertaining video great banter not sure about the singing though 😁,must say you wouldn't get me out in that weather 😂 but then I would miss out on those cracking images of the Sparrowhawk covered in rain. BTW Dan are you still classed as a Novice😂😂 at our club Xmas party we had a look through the last few years of the L&CPU Novice cup which we won in 2021, now called the Bob Robinson Trophy and a few of your images came up so me and my friends had a good laugh at that as it's aimed at people with little experience so it's no wonder Pop's is the King with you being a novice😂😂😂. Keep up the great work Dan always look forward to your videos and seeing where you get to as it gives us ideas of where to go ourselves.👍

I've been using the 180-600mm on my Z8 for the last 6 weeks and it's such a great lens. First outing with the lens was Donna Nook after watching your video of the seals. Since then got some nice images of owls in the wild as well. I really enjoyed the Dan vs. Pops video (hoping you will do more of that). Your channel is much more entertaining and educational than TV/Netflix etc.

Had my fix for this Sunday evening, another entertaining video from you two guys, don't give up your day jobs though, don't think you will make opportunity knocks or the voice. We have visited the hide in the summer and winter but I believe (and we will be returning so watch this space) that spring is the best time when all the young are fledging the nest.

Another hide well out of my price bracket. Somewhere else I cannot visit.
Cumbria hide is really reasonably priced compared to many other hides 👍🏻

I really would like to see stoats. Do you know another good place for them? Maybe a bit more in the south?
I don’t think that there are many wild stoat encounters but I know that the British Wildlife Centre in Surrey do photographic experiences and Stoats are one of the subjects that you can photograph. I’ve popped a link below 👇🏻

No need to apologise, I concede to Pops being the better photographer.
I guess with shutter speeds being below 1/100 of a second there’s always a chance images may appear softer.
