2024 June 17 & 18 & July 9 & 10 Around and To Greenland on the Zuiderdam

We were blocked from our scheduled ports in Greenland by ice. We did manage on July 10 to step on the terra firma of Nuuk, Greenland, which was an exciting visit to a port not often visited. We saw icebergs and the abandoned villages of Arsuk and Ivittuut in June after our Captain on the Zuiderdam and the Danish ice pilots found a passage through the ice fields. But we had to wait until the second visit in July to finally step on Greenland. All total 5 ports and the cruise in Prince William Sound were canceled due to the ice complications. So many pictures of ice and a few of whales but a great stop in Nuuk.
