That’s probably a funny name but I thought since that’s the flower she’s holding that she is drawn to it more and it’s the flower she relates to mostly so maybe she should be named after it.

Love your nails girl 💕 by the way a tip for you: if you have a hard time choosing colors try to take a picture of the drawing and then import it in your digital software and you can try to play around, its really hard to imagine a good color!

@@fionabromby4546 beauty is very standardized these days. A certain type of body, a certain type of face and so on... I love when artists bring in more diversity. I'd sure love to see more diverse figures in the future. Different body shapes, asymmetry, disabilities and so on

So this is my first time being able to comment a name, it's a Hindi name called "Amara" which means eternal/goddess. The result just gives a vibe that suits it so much. Also, much love to you, your work is beautiful.

I had no idea that other people could actually see images in their mind until I found your channel. That was huge for me to find out and I was amazed to learn that I’m the only one in my family (household) that is unable to. I’m decent at art when it comes to looking at someone else’s picture and recreating it but not really creating my own. I love the work you do and I love that you have shared your journey and growth with art!

This is such a great coloring book. They have a swatch page and then they have pages with smaller versions of the actual images to help u plan your colors first. That’s nice. Maybe it would be best if a coloring book has thin pages that they don’t have the images on both sides of the pages so that if u colour one with wet media, it wouldn’t affect the other image which would’ve been affected if it was on the back. I hope that makes sense. Lol

It's so cool to hear someone else get excited about colouring books lol. I used to buy them to colour with my neighbor's daughter (who was 9) and I think I got way more into it than she did. I ended up buying them for her so they were the good quality ones, and then I got obsessed with buying them for myself because they are one of my favourite ways to relax. I love watercolour painting but sometimes I just don't want to have to brain it. This book is STUNNING... I'll have to add this artist to my list 😍

I couldn’t stand it any longer, I tried to resist. This book is so dang cute like I need another book? so lovely like createspace paper? I ordered it, of course, my alcohol markers will make the pages go faster, and finish as you did with pencils. Ok, my willpower is zero, but I’m sure I’ll enjoy it, thanks for the flip thru and coloring😘😘😘 both so lovely.
P.s.I really find this artist’s style interesting, fresh, and, well not intimidating for us who are “only colorists” lol. Her stylization of the heads and long slim necks, those lips and hairstyles, this book is working it!

Before I started watching your vids, I hated pink and orange and colors like that. I only loved the colors purple, blue, and black! (I was emo.) But now I see that any color can be beautiful because of your art and coloring. I have watched all your shorts and have greatly noticed that I could truly become good like you with practice. If you guys love this style buy aren't into the thin crappy paper, look up Lyfe Illustraion. She has 2 coloring books with girls in this same style, absolutely gorgeous. Both have a digital version and one has a physical edition. I bought digital of both and printed onto cardstock and then bought the physical version that's available and omg. It's huge. Thick paper and beautiful beautiful like art. Just thought I'd share because while I love this style I like to use mediums other than just colored pencils.

As for colouring flowers, I recently cleared out my old seed catalogues, and some were for a company called J Parker's, its a small glossy flower seed catalogue, and some of those flowers are TRIPPY, colour combinations that you wouldn't feel comfortable putting together for anything "natural", really proved to me you cannot go wrong when colouring flowers. I saved one for references 😁The website is definitely worth a wander.

There's a "hack" using gesso, or clear gesso, on thin paper coloring books, to allow you to use any kind of media. Thanks for the video. 💚

The marker finish one looked ethereal and the final product looks realistic. They are both beautiful, but I must admit, I prefer the marker finish.
