#thewolffandthemelody #reaction - Hudba
Lyrics of this song is entirely made of titles of other songs. They have another song like that but its made of band names. Metal Crue is the name of the song. Highly recommend. Its fine break of heavy war themes.
Cant forget the third in the trilogy. Its not as good as the other two imo, but Metal Ripper is made up of lyrics from other metal songs
Sabaton, the Metal History Band.
LOVE IT
Ah you found the old Sabaton song not about war haha, this song is not new at all. I was also lucky enough to see these guys play live, the crowd kept singing Swedish Pagans as they walked away from the venue it was pretty funny. I joined in whenever I could but I definitely had that song stuck in my head for days.
Haha ya dude this will be stuck in my head
I guess they couldn't decide on which band/song to make a tribute for, so they did...all? Lol I had forgotten how fun this song is. It was on one of the first albums, I think.
lol they were like....welp lets see how many bands we can throw in hahaa
I know a lot of those songs, but I had to look it up to see how many bands were referenced. It looks like 23 bands/songs. Also found a funny Quote from Joakim: "I (...) wrote lyrics to "Metal Machine" in the bathroom, on toilet paper, with a cardboard beer crate as a support!". 🤘🤣🤘
dude this whole comment is amazing!!!
Ha! "Ride the Sky" is a VERY early Helloween tune, sung by Kai Hansen!!!
Yup, I liked this one a lot. They are very good musicians.
Touch my metal machine - my favourite line! 🤣
I like Suck My Metal Machine alot more😅😅😅
Exactly, Eva...and some are also worth sucking! (I'd say I'm bad for saying that... but if I'm gonna suck a metal machine...it will be a big, worthy one!)
"is this St.anger the ultimate sin" caught me off guard! Love the old school vibes of this!
Saw Sabaton open for Nightwish in 2014, or 2015, I forget now. I'd heard of them but didn't know much about the band. They blew the audience away!!! So, so good and I've become a big Tommy Johansson fan, he's an excellent guitarist and can really sing!! Plus, he's a big Helloween fan, which endears him even more to me!
Helloween! Do you know the full band cover Edo Sala uploaded on his yt of "Lavdate Dominvm"? I love the original, but I think the cover might even be better. :D
Dude I bet the show was wild!!!
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody It was SO good!
@@angiewegenerdjmetalamazon4468 I’ll check it out, that’s one of my favorite Helloween tunes
Two perfect albums by them. Primo Victoria and Carolua Rex. Metal machine is from P.V.
Hell ya dude!
Carolus Rex, the Swedish version (they relesed the full album in English and Swedish), is by far their best album!
Hell yea! This was badass. Great vocals, killer guitar solo. Hearty rythem section. Sign me up dude. Loved it.
Suck my metal machine😂😂😂
I love Sabaton, I can't tell why, cause they're not my usual path, but I love their energy, their theme choices et of course Joakim's particular voice
Yea they do have something about them that just hits.
sabaton lady of the dark animated story video is one of my favs tell me she doesnt look like Floor
Go for whole Metal Trilogy with Piscator lyrics video. Metal Crüe uses metal band names as lyrics, Metal Ripper song lyrics from other songs. Piscator is a fan who made lyrics videos for most Sabaton songs. The Metal Trilogy ones show the bands the lyrics are a reference to, which is great for people less knowledgable in the songs and bands.
SABATON - No Bullets Fly (Animated Story Video). 'Nuff said : )
Metal machine has been out for a long time it's just you hear there new songs there making more than the old ones
Love all the references here. Think i got most of em!
Ya I feel like I got a good bit
Loved this 'Sabafreakington' 😂
Thanks
Lol hell ya dude❤
Yes this song isn’t new, the music video is. This is one of their “filler” songs for albums that three of which exist, still leaning on history but the history of metal and rock. Metal machine takes the titles of songs and makes them into a song. The other two are Metal Crüe which takes band names and forms the lyrics with them, and then Metal Ripper which takes song lyrics and forms them into a song. Then there is the combination of metal machine and metal crüe called Metal Medley, something they have done for their live shows, and recently, they took all three and combined them into Metal Trilogy.
All of them are bangers just like Metal machine.
Also, prior to Sabaton being the history metal band, their demo was songs based about the warhammer universe. One of the songs from the demo, then brought to the bonus disc fist for fight from the metalizer album, Birds of War, is by far one of my favorites and desperately needs to get a remaster.
I'm gonna write some suggestions here, in case you might read it 😊
First of all, Villagers Of Ioannina City from Greece.
They play post, stoner and psychedelic rock with a large dose of Greek folk music from the region of Epirus. The regional musical tradition is characterized by polyphony, specific rhythms and tunes, and the use of clarinet, kaval, and bagpipe. The band fuses this unique folk music with modern psychedelic forms, creating a sound where the dominant solo instrument is the clarinet. Check out "Father Sun".
Secondly, lets travel back in time 20 years, when "Sumerian Deamons" by SepticFlesh came out. Check out "Virtues Of The Beast". About Chaostar (by Christos of SepticFlesh), I can say tracks like "Lamentation", or "I Am... The Assassin of God".
Lastly, about Garm (black beard) who was one of the vocalists in "Winter Thrice" by Borgnagar, check out Arcturus and especially La Masquerade Infernale versions "The Chaos Path", "Painting My Horror" or "The Throne Of Tragedy"
Thanx dude!❤
Much love my dude❤
You gotta do the other two in the "Metal Trilogy". 'Metal Crue' has lyrics from bands, and 'Metal Ripper' has lyrics taken from a bunch of other metal songs
Love the reaction just because i kove metal.
hell ya
"Suck my" might be a reference to: Red hot chili peppers -"suck my kiss" right?
Aye, Sabaton doesn't glorify war as such. Some songs might be about someone doing something incredibly heroic, but they also have the ones where people die left and right and the protagonist wonders why he's still alive and how he's ever going to sleep again without seeing the faces of his fallen comrades. Damn, something like "A lifetime of War" certainly tells the other side of glory!
Especially if you check the Swedish version (maybe with English subtitles on).
sabaton is my fav band
HELL YEA!
Yes, very educational song this one :)
hahhaa
You like werewolves you say???
Powerwolf. Enough said.
Oh wow, you found one of the funny songs of Sabaton, the one only made up of song titles of other bands. You really need to listen to Metal Crue, the song only made up of band names now! :D BTW 7734 is also pretty funny, it is about satanic clichees other people often have about metal (7734 - if you type it into your calculator and turn it around it says hell, then they sing about fallen angels and do funny math: the last two united: 3+4=7 and 111 perished in flames: 777-111=666). I think they made that one because they wanted to poke fun at how easily people believe stuff made up out of numbers. >
Every time I want to comment... You are already on it. Metal Crüe. Absoloodle.
It was soooo fun!
It's a trilogy, Metal Machine, Metal Ripper and Metal Crüe, and then they combined those 3 songs into 1 - Metal Trilogy. Simply ingenious
Not so much a song about the history of war, as about the history of metal. Definitely not typical Sabaton (at least lyrically)!
ya...when it started I was like...oh so no history lesson today
Do metal crue by sabaton
im just dissapointed that their new lyric videos have such low effort backgrounds
