I had the best time with you guys when you visited last year! My room has less stuff than when you were here, but it felt good to let some things go. Especially since I gave them to my sister! I enjoy watching craft room tour videos too. It’s always fascinating to see how different people store and organize the same basic supplies! We are doing well and I hope you are too!

I'm rewatching now in the peace and quiet. Baby is down! Mr. SHABBY is a God send! His teacup gift is so perfect and the built in closet shelves look amazing! I think it's so funny how you tone changes when you are showing your lovely organized space and when you talk about the loads of family photos you still need to sort through! 🤣😂 I'm in the midst or trying to organize my tiny artspace and I'm in the AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I remember those days when my daughter was little. Nap time was like a mini vacation each day. Mr Shabby is an indescribable blessing to me. I thank God every day for sending him to me. Ugh…why do family photos seem to multiply?!? I’ve been a crafter for decades and find every few years my space needs a major overhaul. Enjoy the process of revamping your artspace!

As much as I enjoy seeing how all your supplies are beautifully organized, I think I love most hearing you talk about your mom. I can hear the love you have for her and what a special lady she was. I also treasure those things my mom has given me. She’s going to be 89 this year and I try to cherish every moment I have with her. She taught me how to sew and I’m so grateful for learning such a valuable skill. My granddaughter is always wanting to go to “Grammy’s craft room” and I can see her crafting in years to come. Thanks for all your lovely videos. Have a lovely weekend.

Thank you Bee! I love my closet too! It had just one long piece of vinyl vented shelving when we moved in, but my sweet husband totally transformed it for me. I treasure my mom’s pieces and enjoy using them every day. She was an amazing seamstress and crafter and she instilled the love of creating in me and also my sisters too. Thank you Linda! I love storing supplies in my mom’s items where I can use them every day. There was one lonely little shelf in the closet when we moved in, but my handy husband did a fantastic job installing the closet system.

Thank you Donna! I’m so fortunate to have an entire room just for crafting. I do try to keep my space neat and tidy and always put things away after a crafting session. But you should see the hot mess when I’m in the middle of a project!
Hey Becky! I’m a new subscriber. I’m so happy I found your channel. It makes me happy to have found someone who shares my love for shabby chic. I’m just now reintroducing myself to crafting for the first time since 1989…our 30 year old son is special needs and we spend most of our time home while my husband works, and I’ve fallen in love with crafting again for therapy and for fun! He has a social worker assigned to him that offers services for caregivers several hours a week. It’s been a blessing to my mother in law. I agree that crafting is great therapy and fun too! Just lovely, pretty and functional! I am fortunate to have a spare room to use for crafting, I'm always moving things around. Wish I had a closet like you do, it's nice to be able to close the door. My mom was a crafter and artist, and I am happy to have some of her old supplies- I will never use those, just like to have them around in memory of her. Thanks for the tour.💮
Thank you so much Carol! I find I frequently move things around too. I really enjoy my closet set up. When we moved in, there was only one vented vinyl shelf on the wall. I love having so many of my mom’s supplies. She’s been gone 14 years, but there’s still a faint smell of her perfume on her fabric. I use that fabric occasionally to make a keepsake of some sort for my sisters.

WOW!! I’m flabbergasted! Based on your inventory, it says to me…you are so diversified…talented, knowledgeable, imaginative, artistic….and the neatest crafter I should learn from. I’ve gotten so many ideas from you that I love and will incorporate as soon as I clean out and revamp my little chaotic room. It’s a good thing I’m not claustrophobic! Awwwww Gizmo, thank you, I’m so flattered! I do have so many different craft interests, and I had to learn to not “over purchase” supplies and use what I have on hand. Thank you for the tour. So very organized. I am currently trying, but I live I a single one bedroom apt. They have zip for storage. But even disabled people have enjoy hobbies. You gave me some great ideas. I understand about your mom's box of lace. My mom is also gone and I have several things she Mae I keep close, my daughters don't understand. They see old a little tattered and tell me to get rid of it! I don't. Anyway you have craft room a lot of can only dream about. I am happy for you and the fact Mr. shabby takes good care of you. Hello my friend, I’m glad you enjoyed seeing my craft room! I do keep everything picked up after each project, but it’s a hot mess in there when I’m crafting. I love to plan projects and think “Oh the girls will like this one”! Tutus are always fun; my daughter practically lived in hers as a child.

Enjoyed going through your craft room with you. I love your shabby chic things that you have made over the years; especially those little pies. Is there any chance you would ever show us how to make our own simplified embroidery pattern. I know you have picked yours up at Walmart, but I live in Canada and my Walmart stores only seem to carry what I would call children's patterns like simple owls and fish. I want to make florals like the ones you are able to display. I am a beginner, but you make it look so easy. Please think about it. I am looking forward to seeing what you are going to do with those little Easter wooden cutouts you have hidden in the cupboard there. Thank you for taking us on the tour!

Very pretty display/filming room….. now where do you store your supplies? My supply storage room is larger. My crafting/equipment room is the size of a two car garage. And yes it is an addiction!
Hi Ginger! I do have 2 large plastic containers in my garage. One holds Fall supplies and the other holds Christmas supplies. Everything else is in my craft room and closet, but that’s after I gave away SO much excess stuff to my sister. I’ve really tried to keep only the most used supplies and think before making purchases. It’s hard because I want it all! Thanks for watching and have a great week!
