My favorite memory of her was her part in "The Poseidon Adventure".
I Play One On T.V. That movie is the reason I’ve never taken a cruise lol.

I'm so glad I watched this , because I've always wondered how you and Shelley Winters met . Such a great story !! I can definitely can relate to what she was talking about when she told you that you had a great personality , because you do . I really hope one day you get the perfect part on a TV show or a movie . I can see you being a great actor someday . Thank you for making these videos. I am interested in all of this old Hollywood stuff. And I find you interesting too.
Everything is possible; sometimes in life we experience serendipitous stuff and I truly believe you were destined to have that positive reinforcement from Shelley WInters at that time in her life and by my reckoning she required your positive reinforcement.
Ms Winters did do a lot of work with young actors and I think you may well have saved her from a motivational and perhaps even, physical decline.
I'm not as young as I was once and things to tend to slip somewhat as summertime moves into winter ... your vlogs are positive and interesting, there is indeed an immensely likable vibe to them and to you. Be happy, be well and stay natural.

Well said. If people feel ALONE....they are bound to decline. My now 89 y.o. mother has been in an assisted living facility since last year....it's a near-constant "battle"...but the presence of her two cats has helped greatly, and her grandkids call her regularly. Sheely MIGHT have just given up. She didn't.

fyi- Shelley donated her OSCAR from the Anne Frank Story to the Anne Frnk Museum in the Netherlands....@10 yeaars after the movie. I don't think Jordan mentions her OSCAR for PATCH OF BLUE.

This is quite a story. I've been binge watching you while I work and this story is so natural and refreshing. Ms. Winters was always a strong actress. I remember her well from A Patch of Blue with Sidney Pointer and from the Poseidon Adventure to name a few. How sweet that you would become friends with such an icon and that she genuinely took a liking to your warm nature. Very nice story. Thank you.

Glad you had those fond memories with Shelley Winters and Suge Knight. I always remember Shelley’s underwater swimming scene in Poseidon Adventure. It was quite a feat to perform underwater like that. She was fortunate to have you in her life. Also your grandfather is very fortunate to have you and your sister as well. ❤️🙏🏻💝
I am a huge Shelly Winters fan, I'm so jealous you got to meet and get to know her! The woman was amazing in A place in the Sun, The Diary of Anne Frank, A Patch of Blue, Alfie, The Poseidon Adventure and of course Roseanne just to mention a few. She was also a beauty and its totally unfair to have both beauty and talent going on, she could have shared! 😉

That was really a great thing you did for Shelly. There's not many young people that would go out of there way to help an elderly person, even if there were famous unless they were in hopes of getting something out of it. I wonder, where was Shelly's daughter during that time?

Jordan, I realized I had watched this before, but had to rewatch most of it again, since I've been viewing your blogs only a couple of months now, and out of order. I remember you saying about this audition and how it went, but didn't know that you'd had to cancel your trip for it. I'm sure, like you said the other day on a livestream, that everything happens for a reason, and that you wouldn't change anything if you could go back in time. I think things have fallen into place for you WHERE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE! Thank you for being such a great person as well as a unique individual who we all are so glad we discovered.

I know this vlog is one of your older ones , but i am recovering from surgery and catching up on all your older ones I have not had the chance to watch, sure glad I thought to do so, I am really enjoying them!! Did you ever get any work from these auditions? Would you consider doing a vlog on yourself someday? Maybe sharing some of the work you have done in the film industry, things you have auditioned for and maybe some more great stories on how you met other celebrities ...like how you met Shelley Winters. Jordan, I found a book in my mom's things today that is probably 50 years old. It's a celebrity cookbook. First recipe I turned to was a recipe from Shelly Winters.
I've watched Adam the woo blogs for years and for some odd reason haven't come across your channel. Been a week now and I'm loving it and see that I've missed a lot of content and need to catch up so much!!! Amazing to have met Shelley and more be close friends. What a wonderful story and wow I would not have been brave enough to go deliver to Suge, I'd have thought he'd be an a-hole. Thanks for the story. I was the same way with my daddy when he got sick about a nursing home. He had lung cancer and people told me I couldn't take care of him on my own. But me and my sister took care of him until the day he died. I'm new to your channel and this was a year ago. Did you get the movie.

I agree with you about nursing homes! I have worked in the medical field for 38yrs and they are just warehouses for people waiting to die. Very depressing.
I enjoyed your vlog Jordan! I had to live with my grandmother 5 years ago when she had dementia. I did that for a month and then my parents placed her in a assistance home. I would go and see her and take her dog in as well. We got Stella Bella a year after my grandfather passed away for a Christmas gift so my grandmother would not have to live alone. I lived with Stella for a year until I took the current job that I have with the federal government. I wound up having to move closer to work because I grew tired of driving 45 minutes to an hour 5 to 6 days a week. Like tonight I am pulling a 12 hour shift because a co-worker wanted today and Sunday off for his birthday. My grandmother went to a retirement home that was down the street from the church that I grew up going to and I remember how the priest that was at the Catholic church would have some of the elderly come to mass from the retirement home. My parents were gone or on vacation at the time and I went to the retirement home. I did not care too much for the place and I liked it better when my grandmother was at the assistant living home. That was a nicer place for her and the several times that I went to visit my grandmother they were doing games, watching playoffs with the CUBS 4 years ago. After a year of working at my current job my grandmother passed away it will be in the first week of October due to her dementia became severe. She did not look the same when her dementia became very severe. I enjoyed your vlog.
