super soft chocolate cake
this Chocolate cake recipe is very delicious moist and super soft.This is my "go to" Chocolate Cake. I make it for family dinners, birthdays, and everything in between. I really like the combination of two types of chocolate. Unsweetened cocoa powder is used in the chocolate cake and a dark chocolate (semi sweet or bittersweet) is used in the frosting.
Ingredients
250 gram of all purpose flour
250 gram of butter
40 gram of cocoa powder(motha)
250 gram of sugar
250 gram of eggs
2 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
140 g of yogurt
50 ml of fresh milk
60 ml of coffee (nescafe)
for decorations
a cup of fresh strawberries
100 gram of dark chocolate
chocolate fudge frosting Sinhala
150 g of butter
280g of confectioners sugar
250g of dark chocolate
20g of cocoa powder
1tbsp of fresh milk
1tsp of coffee powder
1tsp of vanilla essence
for ganache
50 ml of fresh milk
160 grams of dark chocolate

Cakes sink in the middle due to several reasons. One reason is that the cake batter might be too moist, causing it to collapse during baking. Another reason could be that the oven temperature is too low, leading to uneven baking. Opening the oven door too frequently while baking can also cause cakes to sink.
