there's really no need to worry about XP after level 40. Niantic should reward players with new permanent items like an infinite super incubator for reaching level 50 or something

Make that 12 Ultra infinite Incubators. The Ultra Infinite Incubators lower the hatching distance by 90%, max 99% on certain events.

I want to add a new strategy for the mass evolving tip. Get Pokémon that can evolve with the benefit of trading them. I saved all of the Geodude's from last month's community day and I traded them all to be ready for yesterday's spotlight hour. With the 2 lucky eggs, I gained 488,000 xp, and a majority of the gain was because of the fact that I was able to do the 3 stage evolutions for only 25 candies.
Traded Karrablast, Shelmet, and Phantump also evolve for free. :)

Excellent throws are by far the best way to gain xp if you don't want to do a lot of raids. Excellent curveballs are the quickest way to catch pokemon on the first ball plus the 1k xp. I catch about 70% of my pokemon with an excellent which adds up. I can do 10 excellents way faster than I can do 1 raid.

Completely agree with this. Practicing Excellent throws has given me so much more xp than anything else in this game.

Its good to see the big PoGO CZcams personality’s do basic videos like this. I remember running into Holly once and mentioned I don’t really watch any of you anymore - she asked why, I then asked if I search for how to throw a curve ball, or any other basics of the game if, will I find a video with her…………………..lets just say the answer wasn’t an immediate yes.

For me the fastest way is combining friendships, event rewards and then evolutions. I try to get the most from 1 egg. Slowest way is interacting with gyms and pokestops.
Same. I’ve 120 evolutions ready. With a lucky egg that’s 480,000 XP with lucky egg and double evolution XP bonus. Even more if some are new Pokédex registrations.

If you mass evolve with lucky eggs on 2xevo events you gain like 500.000 xp easily. You can evolve around two pokemon per minute if you are efficient. Isn't that way better than raiding?

2:45-2:50 How did your charmandar evolve into a golbat? (PSA I know they are 2 different clips but still funny). I personally break down the XP goal to the next level to the number of excellent-throw catches I need to make. For instance, I am level 49 right now, so I need 30,000 catches with excellent throws to get to level 50. That may be 10x the number of raids but catches are free!!!

It's crazy to me, that even at a good pace for me of like 150000 XP per hour, it still will take me nearly 700 hours to reach level 50.
that's the price you pay for it... you have to also account in the challenges that come after lvl 40 which aren't easy
@@nicodesku1901 yeah currently I'm over 7 million XP over the requirements to get to level 45 because I haven't purified Pokemon. The tasks are annoying and difficult at times.
500k per hour is a good pace.
@@NEStefan_com in my city about 150-200 is the best I can do without a lucky egg. Also I’m not old enough to drive and even if I was I wouldn’t want to drive while grinding so that slows me down a bit. I’ve definitely played places where 500k is very possible, just not here.
@@MrZorx75 driving is unnecessary, the best xp gains per hour are excellent throws by far. Just stacking other things on top makes top tier gains in this game
As for me I wait events with x4 xp and I put my lucky eggs only for that

I mean evolving gets you about 170K in 30 minutes... so I still see that as one of the best ways (better than raiding) by even these numbers. 🤣

Buddy functionality idea:
What if for a certain amount of Km walked with a buddy, the trainer were given the ability to improve the buddy’s IVs by 1? And let’s say the Km needed were based on the rarity of the Pokémon and would multiply by 1.2x each IV gained. For example, based on the eggs the Pokémon hatch from, or the level raid needed for the reward encounter, would determine if you needed 20 (tier1), 30 (tier3), 40 (tier4) or 50Km (tier5) walked for a single IV improvement. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Charmander, they would need to walk 148.832km (round to 149) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Gible, they would need to walk 297.664km (round to 298) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Mewtwo, they would need to walk 446.496km (round to 447) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs.
Pros:
- This would make spoofing or radar services less profitable and encourages more gameplay with the same Pokémon.
- Entices player to “bond” with a single Pokémon for longer and therefore play the game more often to get the coveted 100% dex.
Cons:
- All players would have access to the best Pokémon if they walk enough
- Pvp players would need to make sure to avoid gaining hearts walking their buddy, or not apply the “bonding” IVs earned.
If you can think of any other pros/cons, reply to this comment so we can share our thoughts about the idea and maybe someone at Niantic will pick it up! Ideas welcomed and I’ll update the post accordingly.

I try to stack up friendship bonuses and collect them on a lucky egg on a big event day. It’s impossible to coordinate with random added friends so I do it on comm days usually so there’s a chance we both get it. Also if you wanna be extra nice send them all the final gift for best buddies when you use an egg and wait as long as you can so they can egg too. The different time zones are the issue. You can also send the last gifts to a bunch and close the app for the day and use an egg immediately the next day when you log on to get any bonuses since the last log in.
I try to wait till an event as well. But if none are starting soon, I'll send them the gift to open if they are under lv 40. I'm lv45, so if they are over lv40, I'll open it myself. Seems fair. :)

I am currently lvl 41. I don't prioritize leveling up anymore. Team GO Rocket gets harder with every level. I can already power 'mons to lvl 50 if I want to.
On my alt acc, XP is needed because kt is under lvl 40.
I never mass evolve anymore. I just forget about it XD and it isn't worth using LE on it anymore. BF gives more XP

I'm actually surprised that Niantic hasn't tried to monetize their game further like allowing people to purchase extra infinite incubators. They could cost 3k for the first, 6k for the second, etc. Another thing they could do is allow people to purchase more egg slots for 1k coins each. These are just a couple of things that I have been thinking about recently.

I was really hurt to hit lvl 43 and all I got was about $5 worth of items.... Also Don't sleep on pidove and caterpie, low evolve cost, very common spawn, then use a egg and evolve like 400 during a event, then save those for a transfer or trade event..

Are you sure that during the spotlight hours it’s always 2x evolution XP? I looked online and it says each week has a different bonus for example 2x catch candy or 2x catch stardust
He said that every month we get the 2x evolution XP. He stated that the bonus varies per week but one of the weeks every given month is going to be 2x evolution XP

Mega raids only give 10,000 XP, it's the mega legendary (tier 6) raids that give 13,000 xp
