How to make audio auxiliary USB port trick to JBL Flip 6. Audio by Usb C Cable. Secret Setting! Guys the Jbl Flip 6 has an service mode that will permit you to use it with your usb c cable. It's easy and the notebook or PC will make a driver in to the sound card especially for this speaker. Now you can use it as a high fidelity with the cable. The quality of your audio is rised. Of course you will not be able to use the button on the speaker until you turn off this Service Mode setting.

for anyone else that is wondering if this works, yes it works but the volume control from windows is i think not working properly like when you try do change it from the menu on the task bar it will be at max vol even if at one and spotify works on the in app vol control

It works but the volume control is very bad. It would be great if JBL could fix this with an update.

Thanks for the tutorial. I have a few questions:
1. Does the battery charge when the speaker is in service mode and connected to the laptop with USB-C?
2. After you disconnect the speaker from the laptop - Does it power off after some period of time?

It doesnt charge and it powers off as soon as you disconnect the cable from the speaker

honestly kind of ridiculous that of the big names in portable speakers, and especially when looking for speakers bigger than the smallest ones (jbl clip, soundlink micro, sony xb100) there are no options for bigger speakers with aux. i was adverse to jbl as im not a fan of their sound or aesthetic, but knowing that this is possible has definitely swayed me to reconsider since there really is no other option.
there desperately needs to be a mid sized portable spekaer with native aux support!
