It’s so interesting listening to this- when I first read the odyssey I imagined Odysseus to have this deep baritone voice, in part because before reading it I’d known the Odyssey out of order- I knew Odysseus as an old man- one who’d already tricked, suffered, and prevailed. But jay doesn’t have an incredibly deep voice- and it almost highlights how comparatively young Odysseus was to all the things he was fighting? Like sure he was in his 30’s at the beginning but what is 30 in the face of millennia? Weird thoughts but yeet

This music is a balm for the soul. Every note feels like a journey through emotions. Simply breathtaking! 🎶✨
“Dangerous” gives me 80s vibes 😂
I cannot believe, being a Greek mythology fan, that this is the first I've heard about this musical! Massive props to you for gathering all the music, and I will enjoy listening to this for the next 2 months straight :)
''Get in the water.''
It sounds so threatening, I love it
Get in the Water gotta be one of the best baddie tunes I've heard.
I'll forever hear it as "well done 'you lied to me' what's your name" not 'enlighten me.' no matter what Jorge said.
"Great job, you're a liar!!"
Btw It’s Not Well Done You’ve Lied To Me It’s Well Done Enlighten Me. 😂
@@redacted5078EXACTLY!! XD😂
The music is great. I like every song of this playlist. You can hear how much time they spent on every song.
When does a cabbage become a meteor?
This musical has me in tears! These kind of productions remind me of my love for music and mythos, and how the stories brought about by both bring in such powerful emotions, tales and lessons!
It makes me shiver and feel so weightless!
I am excited for how it'll sound and look when it fully comes out! I can already imagine the sets, props and costumes!
Agreed, I believe in my personal opinion this will be such a hit when it actually comes out they'll most certainly make a movie or TV show
AHH me too, i love this musical already. My friends were singing it during karaoke night and THIS MIGHT be the best thing ive ever been introduced to
How can you listen to the whole musical? Like not just random clips because I love it and haven’t been able to hear everything
@@Briar_Rose_92 We can only listen to the soundtracks for now. People made a compilation of the songs already completed and those which are not even in the musical anymore in CZcams if you look it up. I can't wait till it comes out completely!
@@the_indecisiveartist_5850 I know I’ve found the Trojan War and the one with Polyphemus but do you know what I can use to find the other ones?
It’s so interesting listening to this- when I first read the odyssey I imagined Odysseus to have this deep baritone voice, in part because before reading it I’d known the Odyssey out of order- I knew Odysseus as an old man- one who’d already tricked, suffered, and prevailed. But jay doesn’t have an incredibly deep voice- and it almost highlights how comparatively young Odysseus was to all the things he was fighting? Like sure he was in his 30’s at the beginning but what is 30 in the face of millennia? Weird thoughts but yeet
You know, I am just now noticing something
In "Remember them" that is the First time you ever hear Odysseus's name be spoken. Kinda amazing
I just realized that this video had become my go-to form of entertainment for long road trips. I think the music just lends itself so well to looking out the window and daydreaming
me too, im listening to it on a bus rn
Listening to the odyssey on an odyssey
Seriously its the best musical for daydreaming
Luck runs out is such a bop!! And the singer for Aeolis (Edit: I'm not sure if that's how you spell it) is awesome!! I can't wait for this whole musical to be published!!!!
Yes I don't see many people talking about it but it's one of the most addictive for me, and I also love the voice of Eurolychus !
@@germaincedy7274 Totally! Eurolychus' voice is awesome! It's so beautiful!!
this is sooo amazing. Polyphemus, survive and remember me are the most intense songs i;ve heard and i didn't expect that plot twist in Polyphemus. i cannot wait for this to be finally performed irl
"There are other ways" reminds me of Scar from Lion King singing to the hyenas
Обожаю то, как благодаря аниматикам я нахожу всё новые мюзиклы.
Я не понимаю большую часть слов, но я их чувствую. И это потрясающе. В будущем я бы очень хотела увидеть это.
here before this gets turned into a broadway musical 🙏
Am I the only one that imagines Calypso's backup singers as crabs?
OMG NO ME TOOO
Your music is a lifeline in the chaos of our world. It's a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us, even in the toughest times. Thank you for being the soundtrack to my moments of serenity
47:11 Nobody talks about it, but Tiresias'song is wonderful
This is the best way to learn about the oddyssey
It gives me soooo many goosebumps when he says "all i gotta do is open this bag - WHAT" 38:50
Just, it's amazing
i personally found it absolutely hilarious DJDJDJDJ
I need to know what happens after 'Get in the water'. Like I need the whole song it's giving me goosebumps in the best way 🤩 If someone read the Odussey please tell me how he escapes Poseidon at that part 🙏
well in the odyssey a minor godess Ino gives him a magic scarf to keep him from drowning
@@kristenthacker5762 Like- the big gods hate him but the minor ones love this man xD
@@NerveUnderscore and Athena. She is a big one xD
Anyone remember watching the Odyssey in school? What if when this gets finished up (and possibly given a live action performance or full animation) kids in the future will start watching/listening to this over the movie?
I'm sorry his mad his captain didn't make them fight the 6 headed monster 😂😂 crazy

I can’t wait to buy this entire album when it’s polished and ready. 🖤
Ok but why is NO ONE talking about my boy Telemachus, Legendary is the cutest thing ever I can't.
Legendary is one of my favourite songs
This is an amazing musical but all I hear when Hermes laughs is stolas from hellava boss. I would love if they made a show of this.
Jorge (the person that wrote all the songs) is thinking of this musical as a broadway show so it might just happens someday we hope!...
I hope so
God BLESS this person for FINALLY making a legit compiled version. So grateful.
i discovered this at random with youtube autoplay, and god damn im in love, these songs are amazing and the vocals spot on
This NEEDS to go to broadway
Listen- I've watched this video 10 times in the past 3 days while writing. I'm in love.
Glad you enjoy it!
ill be honest i just randomly stumbled upon this but like 2 minutes in and i am so so invested
Good luck
LITERALLY ME LOL I’m now reading the odyssey and making like so many animations for these songs pffft
@@artworld_create7627your art is so nice
Me literally, I bought the Odyssey and watched an anime kinda based on Greek mythology just because of this.
@@Athenabadassinthearena Ooo what's the anime?
as someone whose special interest has been Greek mythology since I basically could walk… YES. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS TO EVER EXIST WITHIN THE GREEK MYTHOLOGY PARADIGM(???) RIGHT UP THERE WITH SONG OF ACHILLES
please read percy Jackson
@@nyahrosee As much as I love Percy Jackson, I think what OP meant was adaptations and retellings, and not stories based off it. (Do correct me if I'm wrong though.)
I’ve only heard 9 songs in a playlist and have been avoiding this thinking it was behind the scenes stuff. Finally looked at the description and I’m happy seeing so many songs! Thanks for this!
I might need help, I’ve been listening to this on repeat for the past week
I want broadway to get a hold of this
I love/hate the auto captions because it wrote "Diabetes will lead the charge" and now I can't unhear it
Wait what is it actually? That's what I hear

Ruthlessness gives me all the shivers up my spine. It takes me searching up the lyrics to learn that the cannibal giants are in this song. At first I mistook them for the crew but knowing who they are now it creeps me out even more.

I like music but I never just sit down to listen to it , it's background to me/music in the car etc except for this music. I put it on ..then just sat and listened to it without even playing on my phone. It's amazing.
Not every hero wears cape ,and you are one of them
This musical is amazing I would kill to see this when it goes to stage.
Please dont kill, not cool to do so. It wont make it go on stage.
