Yesterday the PS22 Chorus of 2012 was treated to one of the most wonderful musical guests we've ever had the pleasure of hosting, the amazing Ms. Carrie Underwood, who took the time out of a busy schedule of promoting her new album to come visit and make music with our favorite fifth graders!! Check out this jaw-dropping performance of her debut single, "Good Girl" with Carrie and the kids!! The dueling solo parts between Carrie and PS22's Kevin was one of the most startlingly amazing musical moments I've ever been lucky enough to witness! Easy to see why her new album is called, "Blown Away," because we ALL were!!

But that is Carrie to a tee. Carrie was there to see for herself, how good they were. Which is why she let them lead and she was backup. She did that on purpose.

Carrie explained her visit to ps22, it wasn't publicity stunt at all. Her curiousity about this group brought her here. She heard about them and decided to check it out for herself.

There's something very wrong with anybody who doesn't like this. That little boy rocked it with Carrie. Brings a smile to my face every time. How he was not terrified singing with one of the best singers ever?? He was so confident! All the kids are every year. Because of an once in a lifetime teacher. Just wanted to add show choir in high school saved me literally. I wouldnt be who I am without it. Girls and boys SO much good can come from choir!

everytime i watch these ultra talented kids, i smile from ear to ear. with so much negativity in this world, therr is hope for the future
they clearly spread so much good feeling with the music they make.
much credit must go to their teacher, who im sure puts 110% effort into these kids. top marks!!!!

This may be one of my favorite videos of all time. Kevin was beyond belief. Kept up easily with Carrie who was most gracious. The obvious pleasure of the chorus warmed the heart. Just love it.

I liked the fact that these kids are in awe of the big-time singers that visit them. I think a normal group of4th graders would be in awe of these superstars that visit them.

Not really; This music teacher selects current music. And Carrie heard about it and wanted to see for herself. Carrie didn't want to disrupt his class. And music teacher decide to show Carrie it isn't a fluke.

I only heard about these kids this year. I had no idea they were soooo great. Saved their web site and was amazed at the number of artists who have sung with them. Have to love their energy. Most of them are underprivileged. They found themselves with this program.

Love this music can save our kids from doing things bad on the streets music should stay in our school there's so much talent in the Urban areas where there's not enough Music school activities because they can't Afford them I live to see children happy thank god 4 people n programs like these
