That 2.0 L deserves a medal.

Vice versa.
Love the video, going to 2.5 swap mine soon. Love how you kept in the funny parts of you messing up talking. I do the same, made me laugh

Update!! Give us updates
Love the content :-) when is the more coming out ?
Any updates on the fleet? :) It's been a while since the last video, I hope everything is going well. Just watched another E24 restoration and your project came to mind.
What a gem of a woman. Very knowledgeable, extremely funny, easy on the eyes, car nut. Proudly subscribed to the channel
Buddy needs a meal. This guy is STARVED^
*hears about 2.5L Miata swap once and ends up here*
yeahhhh this is above my head... I don't think so haha
Awesome video! BIG Thanks!
QUESTION: I noticed that your 2.0ltr aluminum part of the intake manifold (the one that bolts on to the head, before the plastic part) has no 'swirl flaps'. How come?
Very sad there is not only no part 2 but no more videos at all from the channel. I hope everyone is okay.
Be sure to loctite the bypass bolt. Another 2.5 swap blew up because the bolt backed out.
Great Video, This may be a stupid question but I am pretty new on this, can I use a 2.5 engine that came from an automatic car donor if my mx5 is manual or it does not matter? I was thinking about doing the same swap, but most of the good car donors I find are auto.
I want that telescoping ratchet.
It is incredibly handy. I bought a 1/4” one and loved it so much that I had to go back and get one in every size.
More E24 movie-videos!
Where did you go? I need to know how the BMW build is going.
Why would anybody be embarrassed to subscribe to your channel?
Where’s part 2
I vote even if you finished the project come back for more videos or updates
This channel seems like perfect way to introduce working in cars to my gf
Is it non interference engine like in NA and NB?
How was the track day?
Where did yall buy the engine from
You two, Yeah BOTH of you, Have you no shame or just like to taunt? Is this a little game you like to play? Not one mention of the E24 , yet there it is........ Right There in multiple shots.
JK, thanks for the Vid
I’ll bet the spark plug coming apart had more to do with detonation than anything else, you probably had a vacuum leak near that cylinders intake port.
what is the Music used in this video?
I do not see any links to anything by "Armand" (if that's how you spell it)
but, my computer has the Google, so I found a bunch of stuff.
so, thanks for giving me the name at least.
who was the person at 3:55 you were talking about?
put on socks that defends your cold air intake from getting wet
Where is the link to the motorswap guru🎉🎉

Where part 2
Put some 'spect on Almond's name!
Was that in homestead speedway?
Yep!
cool thanks for the video, I just got a 2015 NC3 club, I'm hoping to kill this motor soon soon to put in a 2.5
What is the 2.5 motor out of?
This one is out of a Ford Fusion, but they also came in the Mazda 6, Tribute, and Ford Escape,
4:00 link?
Might be this one czcams.com/video/WdS3tHhU1i8/video.htmlsi=Rc0O8E7NTMQJHNR3
is that a BMW M635 in the garage on the right?
I wondered that too...
Where is it a new video?
What car does the 2.5 come from?
A bunch. It was in Ford Focuses as well as some Mazdas of the era
Link to 2.5 conversion vid, guy is very knowledgeable. czcams.com/video/WdS3tHhU1i8/video.htmlsi=Rc0O8E7NTMQJHNR3
Abbie, are you ex military?
Never, EVER use a prybar/screwdriver to pry against machined aluminum surfaces.
I dont trust anything that use friction in a motor especially timming parts bmw does it and its $10,000 repair ill have it keyed
You realize that TONS of engines are interface right? Like tonnnnsssss
Not talking about interface i mean the timing relying solely on a diamond friction disc to stay in place thats why they have a one piece parts to replace it
Pretty funny… a $200 dollar motor that costs thousands to swap.
