I've not used a monitor with 1,000nits. However, the monitor I'm using now has 2,600nits and I can't imaging using anything less at this point. I shoot a lot in very bright sunlight and my 2,600nit monitor has saved me so much headache because the screen is so clear in extremely sunny conditions. Thanks for the review though....gives me a point of reference as to what else is out there.
What anamorphic desqueeze it offers? And what is maximum zoom ratio? Same zoom ration in anamorphic mode?
Everyone raves about Osee monitors but unfortunately there's no way of getting them in Europe, at least for a cheap price which is a shame.

Question if I may. I've got a couple of monitors and not totally happy with either of them. One of my biggest problems is exposure tools. You can get False Color as a full screen of course but then the only other option for tools is to have ALL of them on the screen at one time (waveform, vector. luma, histogram, etc) Ends up being kind of useless because then everything becomes tiny and poor resolution. I thought I saw individual tools displayed on your review. Can you just have say, the waveform displayed?
yeah you can toggle off almost any tool you want, another feature I forgot to mention with this model is you can actually calibrate it with a tool like the datacolor

I mostly shoot sports i higher frame rates. Will this monitor work with a camera set at 60 or more FPS?

love them! I have the VB50 and VB99, they're so small and have d-tap. My favorite feature is that you can charge them via usb-c
When you do the hard cut at the end do you just ramble and cut in post when you think it's hit a certain comedic note? Or do you purposefully do a scripted hard stop?
