  • I didn't want to pay $25 and have to wait for foam to be shipped to me, so I decided to try out the harbor freight Eva foam floor mats. It worked well and did exactly what I needed it to. Consolidated some other boxes that had pick and pluck foam into it as well. Definitely use a new blade because a dull knife would make it difficult.

      I actually found a better way since then. The foam mats work in a pinch, but Kaizen foam is way easier to use and decently priced if you're doing multiple boxes.

    I done this about 6 months ago. Works ok but a bit of a pain to cut.

      Yeah, it is a little tedious, but using a long insulation knife with a new blade made cutting it fairly easy. The box knife blades were okay, but a little short. A hot knife would do it quicker. Do you have a video of your setup?
