There is also a way to get into the vault without fighting any of the guards. If you steal something in the dwellings, Sparrow will be waiting for you in world 2 (she will be in both the Jungle and Volcana, it doesn't matter which one you pick). If you talk to her she will tell you to steal from Madame Tusk. Go to the tide pool and steal the Tusk Idol from the locked door by Madame's shop. If you do this, Sparrow will be in a room in level 6-1 and she will tell you to meet up with her at Madame's palace. Skip the front entrance to Madame's palace and go to the back door which is normally locked. There will be no guard and the door will be open because Sparrow did it for you. She will be in the vault and you can take the treasure without alerting the guards.

Makes it super easy! I ended this run on about $978,000 (after getting tiamat reward) so this is such an easy way to get the achievement
You can use the clone gun on the chests in the palace and get around 850,000 from tusk instead
I actually think it was made for the exact reason to make the achievement possible

You definitely already know this but if you whip the dice in midair they will always land on either a 1 or a 6 so you can get the 7 faster.

I used this tactic to get the millionaire achievement! Makes it so much easier, got to 800k and then beat Hundun for the final 200k, felt so good!

The ghost can split into 2 and even 4 so watch out and be fast

Dude this game has so much depth to it it’s insane. I was wondering why it was taking so long to release Spelunky 2 and I now know why.
I didnt notic you do it in the video, but if you whip the dice before they land on the ground it will automatically roll as a 6 or 1 which gives you a 50% chance to roll a 7 every time. Just be careful not to whip the dice outside the shop. Hope this helps.

the deeper question though, why did she imprison val helsing the vampire hunter, in Volcano and why is she then unhappy about him being freed? Is she trying to protect him or maybe vlad?
Im pretty sure he got trapped on his own, and tusk wouldnt be happy about him getting stuck and/or giving the spelunker a large reward

@@trolleycartwings You could perhaps release some tips for people struggling with the low scorer achievement, or maybe tactics for specific areas? I havent checked KYGaming's channel so he may've already done these. But if he did, you could still input some unique tips he didn't mention
@@trolleycartwings Doing tips for low scorer would be great! A good strategy I used was robbing the shop keeps in 1-2 or 1-3, get their shotty and hopefully bombs or a mobility item, then get forgiven by 1-4. If I don't get a mobility item like jetpack or hover pack, I would destroy a Kali shrine to get the cape from the vampire. The mobility item makes dodging gold and getting through ice caves a breeze, and then you just gotta play super slow through world 6 to get to tiamat!
@Patrick McBath I rarely used it through the run cause you're right, it does stink since it can send gold back towards you for whatever reason. I would only get it for tiamat at the end.
Howdy, just want to mention that in the dice challenges, if you throw the die then whip it, it will always come up with either a 6 or a 1. That makes it WAY easier to win at any of the gambling areas

Tip for the gambling minigame if you whip the dice before they land it is guaranteed to be a 1 or a 6
I always stop at 5 gambling wins in tide pool so they'll get mad if I go into the palace later on. I do that on purpose so I can be guaranteed a shotgun before Tiamat. I just run in and out of the door over and over again and the guards end up shooting each other.
is this a safer alternative to bombing the City Of Gold? I might as well use this route instead for my $1,000,000 achievement
i just want to say with the people who still dont think this will get you anywhere near the million for that badge, let me sum it up oon how to do it. firstly with the dwelling, i would recommend getting the Udjat eye as this will come in play later. if not, then just go on to tidepool with collecting as much gold and gems as possible. if you do get the udjat eye, you are gonna be wanting to go to sunken city, as this makes yourself drag out the run, and have more chance collecting more gold, and idols as they give 35k in sunken city. anyways, i would recommend going to volcana if you get the eye, as not only can you get a crown, because you can get one in both worlds, but you can also get vlads cape which is in my opinion the best back item. anyways you are done with the requirements for worlds 1 and 2. onto the olmec boss fight. i would just do the olmec skip (watch a tutorial if you dont know how to do olmec skip) which will get you the ankh without fighting olmec through the whole boss, but honestly fighting olmec wouldnt make much of a difference as vlads cape (because you should be going to volcana) carries the entire bossfight making the fight a cakewalk. anyways GO TO TIDEPOOL TEMPLE MAINS. while collecting as much gold as possible, do the gambling and get the 5 prizes (make sure to throw the dice then whip it so its 100 percent gonna be a 1 or a 6), this bit comes with a bit of rng, as if you dont end up getting 7's and 12's this run could possibly end if you're going for a 1mil tiamat win. anyways, thats really all required for tidepool, although there is this one tidepool room in seeds where theres clams protecting lots of gems, so that would be huge if you get that room. anyways, next is ice caves, not much to do on ice caves if im being honest, if you're feeling risky you can try finding the mothership (as you wont have the alien compass because we didnt go temple). finding mothership is huge as killing the big alien gives hella gems. now we have neo babylon, not much to do, just collect gold on 6-1 and 6-2, on 6-3, do what is in the video of course. you should be about 7 to 9 hundred grand. if you already have a million, which you might do, then just get the tiamat win by getting one of the guards shotguns and just killing tiamat. if you dont and you didnt plan on going to sunken city then you'll have to try again, as there is no way you will be getting 100+ grand from the boss. if you did plan on going there, perfect! when on sunken city, get as much idols as you can, as i mentioned before. they are 35k and are huge as you should be almost there. remember, you can always smuggle idols in sunken city using waddler. although only one, as in olmec there is none and ice caves i am pretty sure theres always one. anyways, killing hundun drops gems im pretty sure, and you will be left with just over 1 million! you have done it!
I'd love to see a video on how to get the ankh besides the normal cheese strat of waiting for Olmec's 2nd phase to bomb out the floor. Every video I've seen that covers how to get the ankh either uses the waiting strategy or involves using like 15 bombs to clear a path for Olmec to the bottom.

@@trolleycartwings there is a secret way, you dint even have to defear stage one, you can bomb the right side and make stairs for olmec so you can stand on him and go through the exit door

Its worse usually... In volcana you can get the crown along with really cool place and a double jump cape. In Jungle you need to find secret door with Udjat eye and go to this huge area filled with shops and buy headjet for like 50 000

He probably just wanted to make it easy but true, Just kill the guard out side and then steal his shotgun, Use I-frames to get them to shoot eachother and not kill you then finish them off.

Well i got almost $700,000 on this gameplay so i took quite a bit off I didn’t know the difference could be that bad. Sorry about that.
Do your research before you upload - I tried this and got $500,000, you could’ve at least mentioned that the amount of money you get differs depending on what seed you play. You’re basically clickbaiting people.
