Driving the Mercedes-AMG-SLS at Circuit of The Americas. Austin, Texas.
Mercedes pays for one day at the AMG Driver Academy for all customers who buy a new AMG car. I was hoping for a ride around the circuit in an AMG-SLS, so imagine my surprise when I was allowed to drive EVERY AMG car alone, while following an instructor. Day-1 of the Academy costs about $1,800 and is worth every penny if you can afford it. Each student gets 3-laps in a camera-equipped AMG-SLS with their personal driving video posted on the AMG school website.

The only thing I didn't like was that there is not enough head-room while wearing a racing helmets. For that , you need to install true racing-seats that seat you closer to the floor and don't have headrests that force your head forward into a very uncomfortable driving position.
AMG Driving Academy Staff: Please correct this for a much better driving experience on the track.
