Another great video Charlie and lovely looking routes.
I'll be up the Cairngorms later this year with my gravel bike and these two routes certainly look gravel-able 😀
    Cheers 🚲👍

Totally gravel bike-able, enjoy! Hope the weather is better than today when you're there ☔💦💧

Thanks, I hope it is too !
Although, Kincraig is a 5 hour drive for me so whatever the weather I'll just have to get on with it. I'll be camping for a few days so I'm more concerned about the midges 🦟 🙏

Lovely to see your experiences on these rides. The Cairngorms is such a great place to be on a bike and Glen Tromie is on my list for this year. Looks perfectly 'dooable' on a gravel bike too I'd say 😊👍

It is totally do-able on a gravel bike Janice 👍🏼 Enjoy, and happy cycling for 2024 ☺️

      Hi Janice.
Did you manage to get to Glen Tromie?
      Cheers 👍

Lovely video and very useful. We were trying to locate the Tromie - Feshie link last year. Now I understand where it goes after Bhran cottage. Thanks. Will be out there as soon as the snow has melted :)

Oh amazing, hope you get to it soon. It was a super fun route. Cycling in the snow is ace too though! 👍🏼

Thanks for your comments, really appreciate it! Recently bought a hardtail so will hopefully get out more on that :-)

Planning to do the Glen Tromie ride later this month, will use your route, we are stopping in Newtomore so may start and finish from there. Looks excellent, thankyou. Did the Glen Feshie route from Gravel Scotland book last year, in the snow, also a good day out.

Nice one, hope the weather stays dry and crisp for you! The trails are decent though, so would be fine with a bit of the wet stuff. Riding in the snow is so much fun! That sounds like an awesome day out.

Happy New Year riding. Spectacular views on both rides. You got a new stills camera or something?

Looks good Charlie. I did Gaick pass up that way on the Gravel bike a while ago.
I like your cycling glasses - what make are they? I need a new clear pair 🤓

Nice one Andrew. Great part of Scotland to ride off-road isn't it. They're Endura glasses for smaller heads! Had them for a while so not sure if they're still available. They were only about £15 from memory.

      Hi papadoc.
How did you find the surface of the Gaick on your gravel bike? I vaguely remember it being very rough but that was two decades ago.
      Cheers 👍

@@tonypaddler It’s been a wee while - but I remember it being perfect for a Gravel bike (Alloy / 40mm tyres)

Oh that's excellent, I'll be on a Camino with 45mm tyres.
And in the meantime I've realised that it wasn't the Gaick I cycled, it was actually the Lairig Ghru!
      Thanks for the reply 🙂👍

Would these two routes be okay on a gravel bike do you think?

Hiya, yeah, the gravel bike would be fine for both routes. Descents are obviously more fun on the MTB, but not required!
