I bought a used cap for my 2008 Tundra. The color of the cap didn't match the truck so I painted it with Black Raptor Liner as well -- it turned out amazing - just like yours -- love Raptor Liner!!!
I didn't even know you could get the 4 door with a 6' bed. I have a 15' access cab with 6 foot bed and a leer cap. I'm 6'4 and I started sleeping with my head to the back of the truck instead of to the cab. The window on the back of the capo slants outwards slightly, vs the window against the cab being 90 degrees. I find I get a little extra room if I stack 2 pillows and have my head almost touching the glass.
I will be building my truck out next month when topper gets here, I have a small 5-foot 8 bed which works as I am only 5 foot 6 tall, I have that same topper coming pretty much, the color that matches my truck, I wonder the height of bed, can you sit on bed and not hit head on top? What about bathroom, I saw you can get some nice small toilets where one guy had stored in cubby and then would pull out to use in the middle of the night? Good or Bad Idea? I definitely want that awning and a roof rack.
I have been looking to do this exact build with 60” slides and the OVS awning! Thank you. Do you like the 270 awning you have or would you recommend the larger 270 awning?
Looking for a canopy similar to that for when I go shooting here in the Nevada desert. Any negatives that you've experienced so far? Thanks for the cool video.
I think it could handle some good wind. I made a separate video on the awning but it comes with some support poles and lines to anchor it if you neeed to

I can’t sit up. You need a taller cap or shorter bed. I’m 6’2 tho. I just pack a roll of TP and head to the woods.

No. Won’t fit in my garage with rod case. Certainly would be nicer for sleeping though.

How does that awning handle winds?... would you need to put a weighted anchor line at the corner to keep it from blowing up if wind gets under it?
