- “Island Style - ‘Oiwi E” is a massive all-star, intergenerational collaboration featuring John Cruz, Jack Johnson, and many more of Hawai’i’s top ʻMana Mele Collectiveʻ artists across many genres, alongside over 1,000 Hawaiian Charter School youth. Recorded live across 15 locations, this medley is dedicated to the Cruz ‘Ohana and Kumu John Keola Lake.
About this collaboration: Mana Maoli, a Hawaiian nonprofit, teamed up with Playing For Change and 4 Miles LLC as part of their Mana Mele Project . Mana Mele features a Music & Multimedia Academy, and a Solar Mobile Studio that serves youth, as well as businesses, artists and the public - as a means to feed its programs.
About the Collective: Alongside the youth - on campus, in real world settings, and in this video, is the “Mana Mele Collective” - over 200 artists, engineers, and filmmakers
who donate their time and talents to mentorships, recordings, concerts, and ‘social enterprise’ services in support of these schools.

What a beautiful medley, representing the islands, most beautiful place on earth.
Waioooooooooooooooh!
From Micronesia with Love❤️
What kills me as this song caresses my very soul . I pray for the natives and locals of ALL Hawaiian Islands. The land is threatened right now they gather to keep them from the best mountain on earth but also record numbers of locals having to leave their island homes due to the development of more and more rich man's dirty greed. I pray you all stand strong you know your in all our prayers. We love Hawaii, Mahalo...

Nice one, pacific islander fo eva. Born and raised in Haleiwa, country boy....
@Barry McCool Always chicken skin when I listen to the songs of Hawaii. Many years ago, we also hung with the Aikau's. It was a sad for the whole family and friends for Eddie. I saw Eddie surfing Waimea Bay about 25-30', crazy. There were about 5 out there. Clyde is crazy but good guy. Sonny also lived in Haleiwa for a little bit with his family. We live in Washington state, now. I have a small business and semi retired. www.mateofitness.com Shootz, take care.
One of my favorite island jamz. I've heard many versions of this song but this version with this video is Da Kine
