Kandi and Todd have the hustlers energy. I believe Todd losing his mother gave him a different perspective on what is important. Kandi still just wants to get out and get it because she's use to her family being there when she is done.
I think actually being married to the mother of his children, and having the opportunity to raise his children differently (as j believe he didn’t have the best relationship with Kayla and her mother while she grew up) also drives his family values.

Kandi's own mom planted the seed of Todd being a bum, to the public and the public ran with it. Todd and Kandi should disregard the naysayers and continue on upward and onward with their marriage and family.
The more Kenya talks about her “marriage” the more I feel like this is an arrangement.
Kandi better get it together and start spending time with her man. Same thing happened to Tina from Mary Mary. Her man kept telling her he wanted more time then went and cheated. It's not right but you have to compromise in relationships. Kandi can afford to chill for a minute.

Let's not diminish Kandi, she didn't make most of her money from those songs. She is one of the only housewives who has used the platform to her benefit. Before she started the Show she had her boutique and music company, since then she has produced, more boutiques, bedroom kandi, olg, real estate, acting, theatre. She' clearly a hustler, an entrepreneur. I think she resourceful,she doesn't leave out of her means, in season 1 she had been leaving in the same house that she bought when she was 19, she bought a fixer upper house for a discounted rate quite a few seasons later.
Generational wealth is definitely important but mothering and nurturing your children is just as important. At this point she'll be leaveing behind generational wealth for children who don't even have normal healthy relationships with you. Its not just about what you can leave for family but also what you instill in that family.
Kandi sometimes it's not important to do everything we want. If you wanted to be greedy & selfish you should of not brought another baby into the mix.I smell a divorce in the air.

She didn't do it on camera. Well not directly. People in the comments are saying Todd is giving Kandi warnings that they are on shaky ground. This isn't the first time. He all but short stopped of telling Kandi if Momma Joyce keep playing he might leave. He said it indirectly but Kandi immediately said "Are you telling me you'll leave?" He said no, but it's possible. Remember, he didn't want Kandi to buy her another house when they just brought that huge mansion with a mini mansion on site. When she was there she was acting a fool waiting to find a house. Todd already knew Joyce had a house already. She clearly wanted to live with Kandi from day 1. Joyce didn't like the 1st finance who was killed. She got with Todd soon after. Had it not been for Todd, Joyce would be living with Kandi. She was doing and obviously still is, everything in her power to get him gone. She suggested she could move in the mansion. He said he'll no. So he caved on Kandi buying her a new house to get her gone. All that drama never stopped, we just don't see it or Joyce anymore. So Todd got the 1up on the house. They purposely flashback to Joyce saying Todd only wants her money, and him finally airing his insecurities of his finances and role as a husband. When they first got together, Todd left Bravo but kept his LA offices for his production company. Kandi wasn't too happy but they made it work. Compromised. He basically implied he sacrificed his ambitions and closed the gap, so he obviously expects her to do the same, with no questions asked.
What is wrong with marc? We need to hear his side of the story.

For everybody who told Riley that she should “stay in a child’s place” I hope they see how much a child’s opinion actually matter. She’s lived with Kandi her entire life and Kandi was a distant parent to her so obviously if Kandi couldn’t be there for the 1st child, she won’t be able to be there for the next 2 children plus a stepchild. That’s a lot of people to give attention when you make no time to do so.
I thought about that too. She was a child talking from experience. She needs to make it work for her family. Let something go!

Can we all just keep it real and agree that women just can't have it all. No you cant keep your man satisfied, make your children a priority and have an ambitious career all at the same time. More than likely you'll end up with a successful career, a cheating husband/ divorce and kids that resent you because you are either too tired or at work. And on the flip side there are women who were stay at home moms and always available to their husband's needs and still get cheated on or he divorces her and then she has to start over as a single parent even after doing the right things. But you're right we can't have it all because there are different expectations for a mother.

Brother never brought her around eventually she got fed up she never got to know us and our parents passed so she divorced him. Thank you for what you said about Todd and Kandi, especially Todd. Some of these delusional women act like he was living in his mommas house, drinking beer and playing video games all day. He was working ( on set) when he met Kandi. Todd is a man and a Leo man at that. They require some stroking and a lot of attention, but they will bend over backwards to make you happy. I believe Kandi got the message.

Having a baby is hard. I was overdue a week so they sent me to the hospital to be induced. When my water broke, it had meconium in it---My daughter pooped. After 8 hours of labor, I stopped contracting at 6 cm and my daughter was in distress. I had to have an emergency C-section. I know there are some women who push and it's over but I am thankful for the doctor's who made sure I had a healthy baby

It’s crazy how everyone on the outside can see Kandi and Todd are heading toward a danger zone. Seems like it’s gonna take some mess to hit the fan for Kandi to slow down and prioritize their family and marriage.
I think this quarantine is good for some people who are taking it seriously cuz it's causing moms and dads to spend time with their kids I.E. Kandi. This might be Kandi's karma or someone's prayer; to be able to spend more time with their kids. Ik they didn't wish for this to be the reason. That's why we have To be careful what we pray for, but God has a plan we just have to be patient. Love you bon bon. Thanks for a great review.

Actually Nene and Kenya were friends season 5 and 6. Nene used Kenya’s dinning room table in LA when Nene was on Glee and the New Normal. It was Cynthia and Kenya who didn’t get along bc of coochie crack lol. And Kenya vs Porsha aka Miss America incident. Kenya really didn’t have a lot friends in her cast. She was flirting w Apollo and Kandi was ride or die for Phaedra (smh). Nene was the one that tried to get the group to like Kenya. She would host dinners to give the ladies a chance to give fake apologies. LOL Nene and Kenya really don’t have real beef.

I think things went South when Kandi and Todd stored Apollo’s items wo Phaedra knowing. And Phaedra got upset w Todd for partying w Apollo. But even then Kandi was still like I love Phaedra that’s my girl. I watched the South Africa trip and when the ladies went to see Nene in LA.
