Danimal300zx Well generally yes, but here it's a interviewing technique he intendedly sticks to! Imagine him just letting Sir Ben Kingsley talk, we would still refer on Question Number Two; to very interesting arguments of course, but that's not the idea here. This round is about forcing successfully creative people to answer quickly, authentically and precisely at once.
A lot of it is just editing.
It's to bring out unfabricated answers as far as possible.

I'm so glad that he was honest enough to claim that Schindler's List is one of the best ever even though he was in it. There's no reason why that should exempt it, it's important to him and that's all you need.
Something very real about Larry. He and Craig Ferguson are the only interviews I like watching because of their frankness and openness.
James Lipton from Inside the Actors Studio is very good as well, but it's more about the craft.

They seriously underrated Kingsley when they only knighted him. He is a remarkable actor, AND human being. But what really riveted me about this remarkable interview, is when Kingsley described how he arrived at the psychopathic killer mindset in "Sexy Beast," when he said, "he was an abused child." That single sentence put cold chills down my spine. It's why I always tell parents, "Be good to your children."

Met him once in Spain. Great actor but a fucking awful person. Really rude to people and quite horrible. About 30 odd people had the same opinion. But again a fantastic actor.

Mark R. You’re absolutely right Mark R. Kingsley has a huge ego. He demanded to have his name above the title in the Broadway production of Waiting for Godot. Result - the production was scrapped! He demands reference to his being a knight in any production even though it is not etiquette within the acting profession to do so. Not the most popular actor although he is very good.
