    If they Change the manager i'm 100% sure they will live to regret , there is no better manager out there that can get the better out of this group of players than ten hag in the long term. the next one will do a quick fix and i will work for 12 to 15 months and most of the players will still be there by that time we've seen this before.

    Hope Potter will comes to us at Ajax. Alot of rumours about it. Would be such a good project coach for us. After us being horrible for 2 seasons, there is little pressure. And he is a tactical coach with an eye for the human in the player. Which sounds good for our super young and personalityy lacking squad. Potter doesnt have the personality for United. Even if i think as a pure coach he woudnt be bad. For united that is just not enough with this squad combined with the expectations.

      Yeah it’s good but wouldn’t work at United because we don’t have technical players able to drop into them spaces. For example whenever hojlund is under pressure from a cb he panics and loses it unless he buys a foul. Rashford and Garnacho can only run in behind aren’t ball players. Won’t play Amad who could do it and Antony is one of the worst players to ever wear the badge so couldn’t ever see it working especially when you consider they wouldn’t let motta get rid of any of them players.

    Southgate: can't for the life of me understand the links. He has nothing to show for, incredibly underwhelming manager. Hard pass.
    Potter: Didn't handle the pressure at Chelsea, and United is even bigger. Can be decent under a good structure, but I don't trust him to take us to the top.
    Tuchel: Best choice of these three, can probably deliver us trophies and have us challenge. But he is also high risk. If he falls out with the likes of Mainoo or Garnacho, and they leave the club because of him, I'd never forgive him. Don't trust him to deliver long term success.
    Don't like any of these prospects. Honestly, if we were to change manager, I'd rather go with the likes of McKenna. He's delivered well for United before (as tactical coach) and helped us to wins over all the top clubs in England, with a shambolic squad and culture under the Glazers. I think under a proper INEOS structure, he could be a very exciting prospect.

Imagine being a player reading that. You'd think that you dont want to get injured to get a move to a decent club. Players havent down tools on the manager. Theyve downed tools on the club. This is 100% on the players for having no pride or loyalty to the club, and also the club for letting a story like that get out and stabbing the players in the back. Biologically, everything apart from milk and sugar is basically an "acquired taste". It's just that you acquire the taste for chicken or rice or potatoes or whatever when you're pretty young, so you can't remember it. Things like coffee or alcohol, you don't really start drinking until your teens or later, so you remember your first taste, and it generally wasn't positive. Alcohol (in larger amounts) is toxic, and coffee is bitter, so your body's reflex is not to like them at first.

    Not one of these is the right guy. United missed the boat with Poch years ago, he has the suave & charisma, works well with youth, plays attacking football. He was a perfect fit post-Jose. Now it's an appointment for appointments sake, a desperation move. Compounding bad appointment with bad appointment, just like we've done with players. There's no one out there now. We missed the boat.
    And don’t come at me with “Chelsea are 7th”. Doesn’t matter, certain mangers fit certain clubs, I never fancied him for Chelsea, they needed a hardline authoritarian, I said at the time Luis Enrique was perfect for them. I said Ten Hag wasn’t right for Man Utd, but more of a Spurs fit, and Poch was ideal for United.

I still think the latter is achievable, I thought Poch could’ve built something. It’s very easy to discredit Poch now, and label him as never having won anything but he’s top class for me. What he did at Espanyol, Southampton & Spurs was enough evidence. And he does have that suave, a bit of charisma, and you need that, it’s not something that shows up on your CV or a wiki page, but you need it, especially at a big club. @@mundolioknows6447 ideologically I don’t like but sometimes needs must. Then you have to consider who’s available!
      So given that we have almost no centre backs available, I’d be looking at Evans in the centre who can lead and guide the other two, and then AWB and Amrabat give you mobility and recovery speed to cover Evans when balls go in behind. Dalot at Lwb as he has experience on the left hand side. Garnacho or Mount at Rwb simply because they work hard and could do a job on that side.
      Fernandes has proven he can play deeper and has legs, as does Mainoo so they would offer a more mobile deeper midfield pairing and give Casemiro a rest. Then McTominay can purely focus on being an offensive threat while also supporting Bruno/Mainoo defensively, without him needing to get involved on the ball in midfield. Then just pick your attackers to counter with. That was my thought process.

      @mundolioknows6447 Pƙed 23 dny

      @@SamRobertshaw1618 I don't think it's about how many are at the back, in midfield or up front. It's about what they're being told to do and how to play. All season, no matter who we play they try and play high octane, super quick football for 90 mins. It's the only gameplan we have.
      As you know, we do ok for about 20 mins, then burn out and descend into flappy chaotic football until the end. After those first 20 mins, every attack that breaks down leaves a 40 yard midfield gap and a couple of isolated attackers up front while everyone else sprints to our box, if we win it back we just go full pelt back to an isolated attacker while everyone else sprints forward to help. By the time they get there, we've lost possession again and the players that ran forward are once again stranded and have to sprint back.
      We've been repeating this pattern every single game this season. It is truly staggering how nothing has changed. We are trying to out sprint opponents for 90 mins when we are fatigued. This is what has led to the injury crisis. It's self inflicted. How the manager hasn't admitted to himself it doesn't work is absolutely crazy.
      If I were to change formation against arsenal, I would just go to a traditional 4-4-2 and sit 2 x rows of 4 in front of our goal and hope to catch them on the counter. Defending is more important than scoring now. 1 win in 9 I think. It will be good practice for the final against city because that's the only way we won't get humiliated.

I think with Ineos tidying the facilities up, and Gareth bringing back the good times, there will then be a new energy about the place. Long term, no, I don't think Southgate is the one. I mean, I've lived through the frustrating times with England along with you guys, so I know he isn't the best tactical manager. But, similar to what Ole brought us when he arrived, I think this is the logical first step. We don't want a high ranking name with a huge ego.
