Nothing more off putting that someone so privileged starts feeling sorry for themselves about how mean people are 😂 I've had it with these players at our club. Feeling sorry for themselves. Pull yourselves together and sort yourself out. Deal with the big bad world. We've all had our struggles but you fight through them. You don't cry about it. Look at Maguire FFS! He stopped moaning and owned it, that's the right mentality. Rashford is weak and I don't know if he'll ever be able to deal with pressure. Perhaps he has the wrong people around him, but he's a man now. He has to go, end of story. I'm done with him and any one else that wants to moan, you can f-off too

@@ClarionCaww I agree most of what you said, except that Maguire DID NOT own anything lmao, he was/is delusionally saying that the entire world is wrong and he is right. What Maguire has is a massive out of touch ego that convinces him that he hasn't made a mistake. I still haven't seen an interview of him actually owning any of his mistakes or apologizing.
The right mentality are the ones of Lisandro and Bruno, specially the latter because Bruno defo had some low performances and he has apologized, owned it and improved.

If anyone offers 60m or more then I'll pack his bags for him, we need someone who will actually cross if we want our strikers to score goals and at the moment all our wide player hold on to the ball for far to long and if I played up front with them I'd be fighting in the dressing room by now !!

Even when he was having a bad game. And he also received a lot of abuse from the fans, specially at the beginning, but that didn't mean his attitude was bad, He just tried his best.
We all know that Rashford isn't trying his best, far from it, that is the problem. And when one of the highest paid players in the squad has that attitude is a bad example for the rest of team, it lowers the standards.

I think it would be best for all concerned if Rashford moved to another team in the summer. The club needs a new direction under Ineos and we can't keep doing things the same way and expect different results. Certain players have had their time and opportunities under different managers here, it hasn't worked out and it's time for change. It's nothing personal we just need to find better players that will offer the club more value on the pitch for what they are being paid.

The fan backing of Rashford is probably at 65%. Media is hitting him too hard though...
If we were a front foot team dominating possession and creating opportunities he gets 20 GOALS 10 ASSISTS easy. Class is amongst the elite.
Rashford isn't a defensive presser though... he knows he could improve, and hes not likely to be the one making massive contributions tracking back.
    Never been his game though...
If he had to move its gotta be PSG or a Spanish team. PSG could be a career sentence, even though he'd do well and a flight to Manchester is a couple hours he could be the next neymar. But running down the wing at defenders in a suitable system is gonna make him rightly look world class.
Our current midfield functionality doesn't suit his obvious talents. Big summer, I think he should consider a move, but play it late based on incomings. Tough for a proper Manchester lad with outrageous talent.
    Would be a big loss.

"It does affect when you're in the opponents' box. You're a bit leggy. Alex Ferguson told me not to do so much work and be ready for when we get chances.
"I feel with Rashford it's maybe a bit of the same. You see him going back into the full-back areas.
"It's great he's got that enthusiasm but, to get the best out of him going forward, he maybe needs to let the defenders and the midfielders do it."

Combine it with the Belfast issue and the other things in the news, he’s clearly not getting it. As I’ve said for a while, sometimes its best to just to go your separate ways. I just don't think he has the game intelligence to be at the very elite table of forwards. He makes runs when players are doing a rondo on the other side of the pitch. He doesn't press with intensity when the ball is 10-15 metres away from him, but will sprint top speed when the ball goes back to the opposing goalkeeper from the halfway line sprinting 40-50m+ to try to win a low percentage duel when the odds are stacked against him. He has to learn to manage himself better in that regard. On the other hand, he did score 30+ goals last season. The turning point in our season was losing Eriksen, Shaw and Martinez. This has been overlooked so much and they need to be replaced with quality. This is the issue with our squad, its getting the ball to our forward players with quality to create overloads or at least 1-1. We seem to have sympathy for Hojlund for not getting chances, but it would be interesting to see who is creating Marcus' chances, i'd hedge my bets that he is creating his own chances, and therefore they are low percentage chances. It is so important that we address the squad in the summer. I really hope INEOS make a positive start with player recruitment. We probably need about 7 players. and to have 5+ outbound.

Scholes said it, Rashford is a scorer of great goals but not a great goal scorer. I really liked Rashford, but if we are being honest, IF he isn't scoring goals, he is not a great footballer, his all round game is pretty poor, his decision making for the team has always been terrible and that's why its stands out when he isn't scoring. Last season when he scored 30 goals, in many of those games he was still not playing very good but he was scoring. The difference is that the goals have dried up this season

Rashford's role has changed this season in light of United's, albeit horrific, tactical change. Rashford has gone from being the inverted forward/striker in some games, running off the shoulder constantly and being close to the striker (if there is one) and getting 30 goals as a result, to being a wide ball carrying winger like Doku or Grealish.
He is being asked to do a completely different job clearly, and he's not necessarily that bad at it, its just United are shocking as a whole. He ranks really highly for Shot creating actions from take ons and shots, and goal creating actions from passes, shots and take ons. He also is almost in the 90th percentile for wingers that carry the ball into the box. Rashford is in around the 70th percentile for take on success % and total number of take ons as well per 90.
He's much more involved in getting us up the pitch this season and he's a big part of it. Is he perfect at this role? No. Thats not his fault though, thats a mis-profiling issue. Would you ask Grealish to do the shit that Rashford was doing last season? No, that would be silly for the same reasons. Rashford is much more well rounded than someone like Grealish though, so he CAN do these other roles, but nowhere near as well as he can do his best job which is as a transitional monster with other tools at his disposal. Hopefully next season he stays, and we get an Olise in so that dynamic can be swapped back so he can be closer to Hojlund/another striker and we can get the best out of one of our best players.
I don't think people understand that united are shit because the out of possession stuff rather than the possession stuff. That's primarily a systemic problem. How may times have we seen us lose the ball and then get instantly countered and concede a chance within like 3 passes? Its every game. Rashford will have lost the ball sometimes and its not his fault if we concede a chance from it.
I think its just every year, as Ste said, United fans are insecure. Every time it goes bad we just start the same old shit of 'These players are all shite, get rid' and its just stupid. Every year it feels like there's a scapegoat and this year its Rashford. He was even getting it last year despite the 40 goal contributions, nowhere near as bad of course, but united were winning games so he had some leeway in the eyes of fans.
Is it ok to criticise a player's bad performance? Of course it is, no player is immune from that.
Casemiro has been our worst outfield player this year and I don't think its even close. He gets criticised almost every game, but he doesn't get the shite that Rashford does every week, or the shite Pogba got. There isn't an aura of hatred towards Casemiro like there is Rashford ,and to some extent Maguire and Bruno. Its seriously toxic and it needs to stop. If he leaves because the 'fans' can't see that then they need to take a good look in the mirror. Its ok to want to win, its ok to be frustrated when we don't but its not ok to take out those frustrations unfairly on one or two players, especially not the ones from our academy. If you do that, hang your head in shame, you don't deserve to support United.

Yes, Casemiro has been dog shite and by far our worst player but when we signed him we knew that he was an aging player who simply chose us for the money and not for the love of the club.
The likes of Rashford and Pogba love to say the right thing but when it comes to delivering on the pitch at a consistent level, their performances usually leave a lot to be desired.
The R.O.I with Rashford is absolutely awful. He's a £350,000 p/w player in his physical prime thats worse than plenty of £150,000 p/w(or less) calibur of players in the Premier League.
