i left naples florida 8 years ago now and i don't know why i am in kaplan louisian and louisiana is not a lot better. people think i am a crazy woman for leaving a place like naples but no work for there. mom is retired and dad is now driving a truck. i miss naples in my own way. but can't afford to live there.

I live in Naples Florida. And yes we have old people here and crime but Naples is absolutely beautiful!!! Naples is what you make of it!! Our beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world! The fishing is the best!!! If you don't like fishing, our wildlife is off the hook! We have dolphins,manatees,black bears, panthers, oh and don't forget the alligators!! If don't like looking at them....you can eat 'em!!! Gator tail is delicious!
We also have famous people that live here. Judge Judy! Bob Seger and Donna Summer lived here. But unfortunately she passed away here in 2012. Rest in Peace sweet Lady!
But anyway, Naples does have a little bit of a sketchy side, but what city doesn't. So if you come to Naples just to bitch about...than, go home!!!
Like we say here ..."Welcome to Florida! Now go home!!!!"
I live in Fort Lauderdale, we have so much to do! Boating & Diving, 2 cruise ports to choose from. NBA games, NFL games, concerts either in Miami or Sunrise, 2 international airports to choose from. Naples is nice for a day trip but complete snoozeville. Of course with the median age of 65.
Crime is incredibly low and quality of life is incredibly high😃
