Generally the hike is lower for GM roles, around 8-10% Chief of Staff is a managerial role between the CEO/Founders and executive staff. The main agenda is to manage all admin/strategic tasks based on the founder's plans. Founder's office is even more strategic but on very similar lines. You work directly under founders and oversee teams on their behalf, take up strategic projects for different teams or overall objectives, you act like a proxy for the founders.
