I am one of the dancers: ') at that time I was 22 years old, dividing my time between work, college, postgraduate and dancing. We practiced for only 4 months, selected by the audition system. I used the red costume when the torch was on, in the pants we were wearing there were lights that could be turned on, did you know we made up since daytime and only performed for the night, 😆 we used to exercise 5-10 hours a day. There are 1600 ratoe jaroe dance participants, all of them high school students. At that time I was threatened that I could not take part in the opening ceremony because my father entered ICU, but then he said, wanting to see his son dance in front of the president 😭 Hopefully a moment like this can happen again ❤ 🇮🇩

Devisa meningkat dr turis. Banyak barang dlm negri mulai dikenal dan diakui dan dibeli luar. Pedagang dan masyarakat tradisional jd terangkat.
Positive thinking aja, toh sampeyan juga mampir kesini kan.

Hii.....
1. There was real huge artificial waterfall if you notice at background.
2. The cauldron was lit on top of artificial volcano
3. It was said as the biggest and tallest stage ever in sport games ceremony
4. It was said by most of people also as the most excited opening games ceremony, beaten olympic games
5. Every song sang in middle part was Indonesia's folk song
6. The last song was official theme song of Asian Games 2018
7. It was held with less budgeted, just half from previous Asian Games, and only had 3-4 years to prepare all including venues, normally 7 years, since previous host country withdrew.
8. Don't forget to watch also its closing ceremony.

Asian Games is a multi sport event held every 4 years. It's like the Olympics for Asian countries. Next Asian Games will be at Hang Zhou, China in 2022.
