    That was an amazing video!👏🏽Well Hurricane Maria did her thing! You need to go back to see that we're what they call us, resilient people and our beautiful island is blessed by nature! I must also thank all, for the tremendous help given to us🙏🏾, God's blessings! Waitikubuli is still standing!🇩🇲

    Thank you for this moving survey. The devastation of Maria, Irma and Harvey has been a painful wake up call on many levels but in the end, it is the people who experience the pain of loss and displacement. I hope that the citizens of Dominica can heal and recover as soon as is humanly possible.

    Such a terrible reality of the extent of damage caused by "Maria". I am saddened by these pictures. The loss of homes, property and businesses must be devastating to the owners and of course the Commonwealth of Dominica. From my own interest, it would've been more informative had you mentioned which districts of Dominica were being covered. Having left Salisbury at a young age, I am not familiar with certain parts of the island being shown. On my last visit In 20011, I enjoyed a short but breathtaking tour en route to the Emerald Pool. Lovely!!!... The road to/from Roseau is all I recognise... These pictures show a litter of what I saw at the time....but She will be BEAUTIFUL again if all resources are pulled in to rebuild with much stronger infrastructure. By the Grace of the Almighty I wish you all well in doing just so. Keep the Faith people, Blessed.

    What's the latest news on Dominica? Has much of it been repaired? How are the people doing? I've heard that some of the birds are starting to return, but that much of the forest will take years to grow back.

    As Turkish passport has lots of cons and caveats among the world countries, I am thinking of 2nd passport ownership. But what is this scenery of category 5 hurricanes in Dominica? Really dangerous. Turkish citizenship is one of the worst thing in this world as EU, USA, Canada, Australia never give citizenship to turkish people with masters or above degrees. Instagram hakanozcanankara
    Turkish passports must get tourist visas at 150 euros each time for 20 days entry to rich nations and being under coercive questions at customs in Canada, England, EU countries. I have visited 31 rich and very developed countries in the world till now.

    you all need roof straps strong rooves, more trees to plant

      @ShermaBurgins Před 4 lety

      Dominica is over 75% virgin forest. Therefore, more trees are not needed here. I cannot comment on roof straps though.

    If the world doesn't assist the Caribbean with rebuilding, we cannot expect tourism to be a positive. Folks won't enjoy seeing devastation and suffering in the different cites and ports of call.
