Dude was 15 when he made this. Absolutely fucking Legend, sad that not everyone knows it.
wtf bro…. I couldn’t imagine a SINGLE 15 year old I know making anything close to this
@@LouieMavs only other rapper I can think of who could spit like this at 15 is Earl Sweatshirt
I made a better song when I was 15 but it was with a label
@@silkyjohnson4519 you’re not that guy pal
@@louisrenteria1686 I was that guy
“ If rapping ain’t my life , then what is it? “ Mac knew even at 15 , exactly what he wanted to do with the rest of his life.
dude was born for his niche. he knew who he was. I can only wish to find and fit mine
we true hip hop, we the rarest cats
@@SexyFaceyou're half right. He didn't have the gift handed to him.
He just found a passion early on and ran with it as far as he possibly could with a lazer focus, determination and persistence that forced the universe to carve out a niche for Malcolm's gift to the world.
Hearing this for my first time he’s gifted
He sure is / was man
Hes dead now. He was one of the good ones
@@starburst_kid77 will always be one of the greats.
you found one of the few, the legendary greats. he evolved as a musician like almost no one else has. definitely check out his discography as he grew and found his alter ego's.
grooves!
no wonder this dude went big if this was him at 15. he was as genius of a musician as you get
literally bro i can hardly believe this is him when he was only 15, truly amazing
15 yr olds usually sound like they think theyre good. but mac, he knew he was good
This song was so hard to come across.. a blessing to hear it again
Good to hear bro
@@613tv8 j
stay blessed yall
You can hear the Nas influence in the first verse. He mastered that old school flow at 15.
And BIG L
Big L was one of his favorite rappers and he mentioned it on Sway Universe. Mac Miller studied the greats and became a legend to Hip Hop
Ain’t no cheesy raps on this easy Mac 🔥🔥🔥🐐 we miss you man
facts
been thinking about this song for a couple years and just came across it again today. R.I.P Mac
Love how it is over the roots. Kid had such a deep understanding of where true hip hop came from.
100%
He studied the greats and legends. He became one himself. Admirable .
Macs music ages so well, start to finish
It's weird how we can miss a person so much we just know trough music but damn I do.. Why am I feeling so close to this man tho?
same gurl i am crying
plot twist there both guys
I too feel the same way. He was talking to us through music!! I was tripping out to his album faces and those songs where his last yells
Not to be rude but you probably have an issue with emotions. Not like an insult just like an actual thing I hope you can get figured out. People with normal functional feelings shouldn't feel that way.
@@brendondowdy5651 who the fuck are you to say how someone feels? You must be a therapist. Music moves people.. music can make people cry.. music can make people shoot up places..
Finally heard the original thanks for the blessing 🙏 🙌
No problem g
I only heard the remastered from his main channel (when im 15)
Why does listening to mac make me deep life so much, it’s crazy hearing him in this he was young and just getting started as a kid up to no good doing his thing living life, now he’s not here, I don’t get life
It’s addiction bro. It’s a disease. He just needed help. Poor kid.
The love I feel for this man is indescribable. He left us so many tracks to listen we should just be thankful and love each other just like Mac would have wanted it 🖤
Its because he put his soul in every song you can feel every emotion he is feeling in the songs at the times...young..happy..sad..depressed..bounce back...lost...giving up on life..finding life finding and losing love..and sadly wanting to die..Mac was on a diffrent level I dont even know him but felt close to him through his music..idk lol miss his music sorely
@@wolfwun understand what you mean… but it’s not a disease, just people missing a certain something or chasing the wrong goals in a way. Sad for sure
@@joewo6398 if only you could preach this to the world for him
The Roots is the backing track. Never do what they do is the original song.
The music video is a classic 💯
This is one of macs best song ever
100% and he was only 15 its so crazy
You can really hear the Big L influence. Lovin this beat too
nas influence too
@@mrreaperrrmanz3025 Always liked Mac because he reminded me of L. He didn’t come close to Big L but he was the closest since him I’ve ever heard.
pretty sure this was the comment that put me onto big L a year ago, thank you
Jesus Mac was so criminally underrated. He kept the spirit of real hip hop alive.
The true goat of rap
Dope ass beat
Yee forsure
What They Do by The Roots
its what they do, what they do, what they dooo
5 ans déjà et ces comme si c'était hier...la douleur reste mais la joie aussi de pouvoir profiter des œuvres que tu nous a laissé.

RIP big homie. But wow this song can actually hold weight to his platinum hits. man was truly a musical genius
the beat is so smooth and his bars glide across it like butter. truly one of the greatest of the generation
incredible stuff
Absolute unadulterated heat.
one of Mac's all time best songs and he was only 15 when he wrote it and most Mac fans have never heard this song. insane

His Fucking talent bro it’s unmatched
God gifted.
this has such a chill vibe that makes your ttc ride a breeze
im so glad Mac has 3 verses on this song and still let the beat ride out for a while. Five and a half minutes of pure art
Makes me think of "I liked you betta when you was Easy Mac"
Rip legend.
easy mac with the cheesy raps
It’s crazy how you can miss someone you never met but they got you through some tough times. I only wish I could’ve returned the favor. FLY HIGH 🕊 BROTHER🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️

When he said my macking ain't easy I felt that.
Damn I’ve heard the “when I was 15 version” but not the original
He sounds different, but still great
The Beat: The Roots ~ What they do

You gotta see the roots live to understand.
Super psychedelic stuff, a lot like Mac.
Still Bumping‼️ 2024 🔥
just whe you thought mac couldnt be a better legend than he already is and then you find his first album stoned 👌🎶
Damn this guy is underrated asf
sadly, he passed in 2018 due to an overdose. still one of the best rappers to date.

RIP Mac been the best since younggg
man, Mac just had 'it' from the start
its crazy how good he was so young
What they do❤️
Got me thru my worst break up thank you and God bless ..
He is one of the few famous people who after they got famous, still acted like a normal person. Addiction or just doing drugs- they both have the same risk. And unfortunately the drugs he purchased where laced with fentanyl. Mac was so excited to go on tour for his new album, and thanks to those dealers, it was never able to happen. May they rot in jail for life.
So fucking amazing no one can compare. He has such an ear for music and creative rhymes
This came out back in the day when there would be full lyrics on the first comment
haha when was that like 2009 or something?
If I were this OG as a 15 year old I dont know what I would do but I would be Kickin Incredibly Dope Sh*t
Words cannot begin too describe this TALENT RIP my G

You can def hear the nas illmatic influence
