      @@PeterYMao I would like to see endgame tutorial explaining the wake of options and second hopefully it makes sense to Techni and also a endgame tutorial of how to escape kings throws I feel like that’s like one option a lot of players don’t really know the answer to but it’s keeping his throws is way different than escaping any other characters in the game so I would like to see endgame tutorial added to the game to specifically for that

    Yesterday I finished watching the 101-106 videos and was already absolutely amazed by the quality. Having finished the series (107-113) now, I have to say this is hands down the best videogame beginner tutorial series of all the games I watched on this platform.
    I also watched a bunch of other T7 tutorials and while most of them were very helpful, I still had so many questions in regards to the basics of T7. But after finishing this series my question were all answered, and not just that but my appreciation and fascination for T7 increased tremendously because of this series as well.
    Thank you (and all the people involved) for all your effort/hardwork.

    Such an important aspect of this game, and I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it didn't come with a tutorial. I have to outsource every other day information about get up options because I'm so delusional that I think it's different everytime. I almost never get up doing the option I end up wanting. It's so stupid. What other fighting game comes close to explaining a concept like this that I have to go hundreds of hrs without confidently knowing what the buttons do on the floor.

    Hey Peter, love the video, great quality as always. Just my two cents: a useful way of using the front roll is to avoid some unlockable set ups, i use it to avoid the jumping unblockable of Yoshi after he spins you in a combo. I don't remember the name of the move. I'm not sure but I believe it works on AK and King capital punishment as well. Though this is a bit more advanced I think

    There are also other versions of the wake-up kicks, done by tapping up first (u~3 and u~4), I think this changes the animation slightly and delays the kick but I'm not sure if there's a significant difference in frames. I think these are often referred to as "delayed wake-up kicks" instead of just "wake-up kicks".
    P.S: Thanks to your video on sidestepping (and your encouragement), I've taken my sidestepping grade from D to C. Small improvement, but still improvement, and I'll keep working on it. You have my gratitude.

    you can mixup with frontroll to only block so the frontroll options become usable. i would use frontroll more than sprinkick just because of that. Reacting to blocked moves are easier than reacting to just opponent animation. Also frontroll can kill many okisetups like king's "ground throw into grounded or f21 into wakeup" -setup.

    • @PeterYMao
      @PeterYMao  Před 4 lety

    Hello Peter!
    First of all thanks alot for such detailed and easily understandable videos. This is my first time in any fighting game and have just started Tekken about 10 days ago. I wanna ask your opinion about which character should I start with, who is easy to learn and has easy strings/combos to pull off. I am sort of a block-punish guy. I am having trouble to string together an attack when I hit my opponent. Thanks in advance for your help😊.

    • @PeterYMao
      @PeterYMao  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey Syed! So happy to hear you picked up Tekken. My advice is pick any character you want to learn. At your level (beginner I assume) the character difficulty won't be too bad since everything will be new. Just play who you think is cool or a character you don't mind practicing with. That's the best advice I can give :D

    Did you do a video on how to throw a scape king in this game that's the only annoying thing I think about tech is that from what I understand he's the only character that you can't escape a throw like you do with everyone else which is kind of annoying I think they should've just made it so that is the same way to throw scape as it is for every other character

    • @PeterYMao
