Love sole fishing. Best I've had was 1 3/4 lb. Was massive and so strong. I have also kept 2 alive in the bath once and returned the next day - in fresh water. Used to catch loads years ago.

We use king ragworm and haven’t changed because it works very well and can be cast a good distance when required. It’s what most people use around the upper channel. Mudworm/maddies are present in the channel so should work fine also

Haha! It was only a matter of time. I’ve got sensitive skin on my left hand and the worm juice and fish plays havoc with it!
