Yo Egg! Hope all is good. I recently saw those light up figure reveals and I was wondering if you could tell me, from previous experience, what it's like ordering exclusives from the Super7 website. Do they sell out ridiculously quick or do they keep the item available for a certain period of time before taking the item down? In other words, is there enough time for everyone who knows about and wants the item to put an order in? I know that it won't be a month long period but do they make a certain amount based on how many orders they receive or is it already a certain amount available before they run out? I hope this makes sense. I'd like those two figures but I worry that they may run out before I can get them. If they are available to order for the whole day then that will be fine. I'm also wondering what the cost will be.
Hi! In stock items can sell out in 24-48 hours, depending on how popular they are - and also how many are left after the con. Frozo took a while (few days) to sell out and was available later again elsewhere. So Ghost Grune seems to be at the warehouse as per the advert so he is the one I’d jump on to avoid it selling out. BUT - there’s still something I’m unclear about regarding the other 2 - they are both preorders but one does say they are limited quantities, so I’m not sure what to make of that. I’m sure S7 will clarify it all shortly. They always allow for us non-attendees to preorder after the con. If these 2 are normal preorders it should last a month and we then have time to get that order in and not miss it. I’ll be watching it closely.

Having said that, if they are pre-orders, why would they only have limited quantity left? They haven't even been made if they are pre-orders so theoretically, they could make as many as they want. I don't see them making as many as they do for the usual pre-orders but they could make enough to fulfill all the orders that come in for however long the pre-order is open for. I would be surprised if it was for a month but I guess you never know. I thought the whole point of doing Mumm-Ra and Lion-O figures was to get more orders in so it makes more sense for everyone to have a chance. Exclusives are usually non-essentials but to many fans, that Mumm-Ra and Lion-O will feel like essentials. I know that people will want them. I know that it's different with Ghost Grune because he is already made and ready to go so Super7 will just sell however many they've made and then it's gone. They can do that without fans getting bent out of shape because not as many people will jump on it. Lion-O and Mumm-Ra with light up features is a different story. Fans are always going to want them. Whether the price point puts some people off, I don't know. We haven't seen the price yet but I'm guessing it will be pretty high. It would however be a bit of a one-off purchase because I don't see other characters getting the same kind of treatment. With Lion-O, it won't just be about the light up features. Many want him on a new buck with pinless joints and on the picture it looks like that may be what we're getting. As for Mumm-Ra, who wouldn't want a Mumm-Ra with light up eyes?
