Mr. Carrington. Because of you I am now addicted to thrifting. It is really fun and relaxing for me. I have found some nice things along the way. Just this past week, I have purchased a beautiful porcelain figurine of a collie. I didn’t need it, but I bought ‘Lassie’ anyway. Your vlogs are so calming and pleasant. Keep up the great work!

@Mr Carrington Yes. A tad at large 11 inches (27.94 cm), but it’s a great addition to my small collection porcelain dogs.

I remember when Charity shops were really cheap. I do not think they are now. Rarely hold sale days. I stopped visiting them. Of course they have overheads but, it is big business now, not so much charity I am sad to say. The ones you are visiting are different, nice items, not worn out or chipped up!

Peckham never used to be the way that you see it now. It was completely different but for the better due to regeneration and development. It’s git some nice places to go, and I do hope that the PeckhamPlex is in a lot not better condition the last time I went there. Lovely visit to the charity shops, it’s great that we’re still able to recycle, reuse and donate!

The Christmas cactus , redline 1:33, should be in the sun only when it is being forced to bloom for the Christmas season. Otherwise it should be kept in subdued light.
I rarely find any bargains in charity shops - not my size, or not my taste etc, but I was looking for a white blouse for the summer, and spotted a good-as-new Mint Velvet one for £14.99 in a Shelter boutique store in North London. Retail price of around £70, so I’m happy with that!
I really loved looking round the charity shops. I'm always on the look out for a good bargain. A few months ago I got a white company candle in white lavender. This week I found a lovely dress for a wedding I'm going to next weekend.
This makes me miss South London. I’ve found a fair few bargs recently. A 💯 linen Breton top from The White Company and a 100% cashmere Maxmara jumper which was a fiver.

Love a browse around a Charity shop but the best part of this video was the cute cat at the beginning!

Here in Oregon USA, we have a Goodwill As-Is store that sells by weight. If you reach 20 lbs worth, your cost is $1.25 per pound. You have to rummage thru big tables and when they bring out new ones (every few hours or so) its total chaos but wonderful bargains can be had!

Love looking round charity shops with you and like your choice of music. I'd not been for a while but went 3 days to various places this week. I usually get an armful of jigsaws, cds books and dresses, my best buy this week being a very summery dress for £3. Same labels in shops ridiculous prices and as for bobbly glasses just under £20 in very exclusive Farm Shop, haha. You are a great bargain hunter.

Hi iwan great vlog as always, thank u for bringing us for a nosey around the charity shops there were some lovely stuff in them, love charity shops sadly most of our ain't as big here, I always head to the books, glassware, clothes, & plant pots, my other half doesn't have patience when I go in & I always take ages having a rummage lol😂😂, take care enjoy the weekend & the sunshine lots of love 💕💕💕

@@georgemaxwell4984 Yes, it can be a bit hit & miss at times, but overall quite bargainous! Clothes start at 50p, £1 & £2. I like to see the jewellery, which is inexpensive!

I’m sorry Mr C but I just can’t fathom wearing a sweater right now. When you said it would get you through summer I almost passed out! Granted it’s 104 here!! It seems to be 83 there and that seems so warm. You’re killing me Mr C! 🥵😂

Every time you take us thrifting with you, I am getting envious! I live in Worthing and we don't have so many good thrift shops/Charity shops. On the other hand - maybe it saves me some money !

You’re Where’s Wally is called Where’s Waldo in North America. I liked that concrete single candle or tea light holder as well as that hammered metal plant pot, quite on trend now. What a thrilling end to thrifting! A neon pink lit atmospheric room just filled with balloons!

Love that white sweater, it was so you and looks like cotton? be great for cool summer evenings and days leading into Autumn. Saw some vintage Pyrex in one of your shops, I am like Oooh vintage Pyrex pick that up!! Little cat you met along the way seemed to like you, he was a cutie wasn't he? Love the bar on the rooftop and the fact it was once a car park, great re-use of a building like that. Have a good week to come and I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us next week. Two days ago, I found a wonderful heavy silver plated Brighton bangle bracelet with crystals going from pink to dark red at my Value Village here in Tacoma. I paid $9.99 for it. I think it would normally go for anywhere between $75 to $100. I can't believe it was priced at that amount and that anyone would have donated it in the first place. That rooftop bar looks fabulous and what views!
Just love your charity shop videos. So interesting looking at things for sale that we don’t have here ( U S ). Beautiful little tea pots and plates with age. Our stuff isn’t very old!
Still seem pricey compared to our North West Manchester charity shops but good by London prices. Like the car park/ cafe but I would want higher sides 😱😱

I wish we had a better selection of charity shops in my area. All seem to be very expensive and very hit and miss. Nothing better than a good rummage for a bargain.

Some great charity shops , I got a ornament a few weeks ago 2.99 and it was still on sale for 50£ in the original shop , love a bargain, you was good and didn’t buy a lot Xx

well that's fun, the number 12 bus runs through my neighborhood and will take you from Englewood civic center all the way to downtown Denver. cute shops, cafes and historic neighborhoods along the way, the 12 is a good bus to see some nice Denver.

Hi Mr Carrington, I did some thrifting in our area of South East London. I visited Crisis in Rye Lane. Aw I love cats. I also want to visit the Bussy building and try out some of their restaurants.

Does St Christopher’s not have a shop in Peckham? They alway had great stuff at very reasonable prices.
Not in Peckham there are a few in south london though
@@MrCarrington they must have closed the store since I moved to Norfolk, there was one there about 10 or so years ago. I know their main store is in Penge about a mile from St Christopher’s.
