++ Soups by itself are a prolific menu..and quite rightly you had:even hinted midway on a possible two..three spin offs from this Veg version itself ( the egg..the chicken). Plus the open choice of ingredients - virtually being able to add whatever to individual tastes/likes, makes it so universal ! And personally a laden soup is half..even a full meal..! (Chinese noodle bowls with a motherload of stuff is like a full meal in itself !
++ And why is it generally said to "eat" your soup n not "drink" while both are relevant in its own contexts ?! It's tht liquids you drink, and you eat with a spoon. So you would DRINK a cup of soup and EAT a bowl of soup. The spoon makes it to eat ! To avoid misuse use the neutral verb "have" instead ! Much thanks VJ ! ( Still chasing the Gujjus for the only thing id ever want from them- Dhokla !)
