If they did that, the answer would be having a custom character!! Also it proves point for having your own character, with it's special abilities, it'll be able to stop Sonic.exe once and for all!!
Also my character's name will be; Artistia the Hedgehog. If my character dies....she'll become Artistia.exe....though, you can't believe how many times I use that name.

Well...We still have the Modern Characters, and the BOOM Characters, the Custom Character from Sonic Forces, Infinite, E1 OMEGA, Charmy, Vector, Espio, Mighty, Ray, most of the comic characters, Chaos, Bark, Bean, Fang, CLASSIC Classic Sonic (the game gear/master system games), CLASSIC Classic Knuckles (from the same as classic classic sonic), and CLASSIC Classic Robotnik (same as classic classic sonic and knuckles, and not Classic Classic Tails, because he died in the canon ending of Sonic 2 for GameGear/Master System). Basically, Sonic.exe only killed a small portion of the characters in the Sonic series. Sonic.exe didn't kill them yet.
