The notorious Serb paramilitary leader, Zeljko Raznatovic, known as Arkan, paraded Bosnian government soldiers captured by his men during recent fighting on Friday.
As Arkan humiliated the cowering captives, some of his 'Tiger' militiamen claimed to have taken back territory from government troops 40 kilometres south of the Serb stronghold of Banja Luka.
Bullying was the name of Arkan's game.
UPSOUND:
Arkan: "Tell them who captured you."
POWs: "Arkan's men"
Arkan: "Sure, where do you think you are? How many killed?"
POWs: "More than 100."
Arkan was obviously proud of the capture of these Bosnian government soldiers and milked them for every bit of grim amusement he could.

Arkan: "Smile for the cameras. I promise to take you for a drink in hotel 'Bosnia' in Banja Luka. Smile, don't be sad. We'll act according to Geneva convention. Tell us your names."

The Serb nationalist paramilitary warlord gained a grim reputation earlier in the Bosnian war for cruelty to his Moslem captives.
These Serb soldiers are on Mount Manjaca, a key line of defence for the Serb stronghold of Banja Luka , 40 kilometres to the north.
On Friday a special contingent of Bosnian Serb troops claimed to be taking territory back from the mainly Moslem government troops.
With the soldiers were special police troops, and paramilitary units from Serbia - Arkan's 'Tigers' militia.
Together they launched 120 millimeter mortar grenades into the sky - hoping to send the Muslims on the run again.

The sad thing about this whole war is that the people who were killing each other didn’t actually hate each other at it’s core, it were the politicians who caused this and who brainwashed their people. It’s disgusting to think that one day you’re chilling with your neighbors and the next day you are enemies simply because you have a different religion. It’s sad to see how one country with many different religions and ideas fell apart because some guys at the top were hungry for power. It’s disgusting to see how powerful people create hate between peaceful human beings. No single soldier has won in this war the only ones who gained something from it were the corrupt higher ups. Even they were fucked because most of them have been sent to prison because of war crimes.

The guys who got captured are from the 17 kraijna brigade from Travnik who came to give the Bosnian 5th corps fresh man power, these guys became trapped near kljuc when the serbs re counter attack, they were not able to retreat and were captured, in the end they were traded for serb captured soldiers on the other side of the battlefield.

I guess he might still be alive. All four were taken to the camp in Banja Luka and exchanged on Nov. 7, 1995. Ismet Svraka testified how Arkan brought his wife Ceca to the camp asking Ismet if he would like to have sex with her. When answering ''no'' he got mocked and beaten by Arkan, when answering ''yes'' he got mocked and beaten again. Arkan proceeded in the same manner to the other 9 prisoners who were bound together with Ismet.

To su zločinci koji su sistemski pokušali uništiti hiljadugodišnji bosanskohercegovački saživot mira i najvišeg stepena multikulturalizma koji je srž države Bosne i Hercegovine same, prije i povrh svega, države koja je tvorevina takve kulture, kulture koja može biti model cijelom svijetu kako se može živjeti zajedno. Nažalost, ta kultura saživota različitih etnija i konfesija danas je znatno uništena, ali ne uništena nekakvim tobožnjim i navodnim "bratoubilačkim ratom" nego sistemskom AGRESIJOM ponajviše Republike Srbije i Republike Hrvatske, naravno u njihovom tadašnjem vladajućem režimskom sastavu (uz dodatak da je i dan-danas nažalost u obje te države takva agresorska garnitura na vlasti). Nadam se da ćete ovaj moj odgovor dobronamjerno shvatiti, uz želju sve najbolje Vama i svim ljudima dobre volje koji tragaju za istinom i pravdom, jer ne može se povjerenje i budućnost graditi na negiranju historijskih i pravnih istina, lažno, nemoralno i beskrupulozno proglašavajući navodno da su "svi krivi" jer su se igrali "tata hoćemo'l rata". Takvo što je jedna bezpresedanska laž, spin i manipulacija koja je rezultat "Gebelske propagandne mašinerije" susjednih država i svih onih koji trijumfalizirajući ratne zločince i negirajući ratne zločine (od kojih na prvom mjestu zločin GENOCIDA) učestvuju u perpetuiranju/ponavljanju istih, jer u svim studijama o genocidu, NEGACIJA i TRIJUMFALIZACIJA RATNIH ZLOČINA I ZLOČINACA PREDSTAVLJA KLJUČNI ALARM DA ĆE SE TAKVE STRAHOTE OPET PONOVITI. Komično je kako se Arkan ovdje pravi važan. Nadam se da su ovi zarobljenici zivi i zdravi.
Prezivjeli su, Arkan ih je stavio u neki logor pored Banja Luke gdje je dovodio Cecu pa se izivljavao na njima.
Ima snimak sa neke razmjene gdje se pojavljuju ovi likovi, gledao sam moze se naci na youtube. Uglavnom prezivjeli su.

Nisu svi bili losi. Jednostavno svako je morao na svoju stranu. Neko sto je hteo a mnogo je vise onih koji su morali. Bilo je to opste ludilo. Mnogo je ljudi stradalo, ostalo bez svojih najmilijih, bez kuca i svega ostalog. Moramo i trebamo se okrenuti zivotu, radu i saradnji jedni sa drugima i svima ce biti bolje. Prokleti rat je samo zlo koje bolje da se nikad ne ponovi. Ja ljude delim na dobre i lose. Nema veze ko je koje nacije i vere. A u ratu je na svim stanama bilo i ekstrema i normalnih ljudi.

Bosniak Muslims were not identified in Yugoslavia. They had to choose to be a Serb, a Croatian or merely a Yugoslavian. So they did not share the same culture but were obliged to (pretend to) adopt a culture. And obviously, as soon as the opportunity arose, they took arms and wanted to be independent.

Most importantly, when talking about the "sides" no sound judgement can be made without taking into consideration the difference in size and power of the sides. Ja sam Brazilac, gledao sam puno o bosanskom ratu na televiziji, vau koliko su patnje prošli civili, mnogo više žalim za decom. Želeo sam da razumem srpski jezik da znam šta kažu na video snimcima!
