I've played a tonne of this, and god Guide of Souls is so underrated. That card does great things in the deck

@FranciscoFerreira-gc6xu you're getting ahead on board though, so it's more like a 2 for 2. I've seen so many games where an evasive 4 power creature on the play effectively kills the opponent a few turns later because you stripped their answers from their hand before they had a chance to do anything.

I wonder if swapping Guide with Ragavans and switching the Malakir Rebirth to the 4th Ephemerate would improve things.
Seeing how you react playing thoughtseize/grief decks makes me want to play something else!
It might just be worse than the boros build from last week's veedeo, but i made a naya version of the phlage core that basically just runs a lot of ways to get fable or phlage on turn 2 (gilded goose, halfling, ragavan) with obosh as a companion. I'm not sure how good it actually is, though

next turn legend rule ajani, make 2 energy, flip ajani, make another cat for 3 energy, attack pump the token that came into play t2

I’ve seen guide of souls do well in other decks but like mengu says guide has no place in this particular deck. if we cut guide and replace with ragavan do we have enough white cards for solitude?
I like Guide in a more aggressive deck and focused in energy like Boros. That deck produces so much energy and you can use de pump ability each turn most times. Here in mardu maybe you can add the extra copies of Fable, Ajani and Solitude, and the 22 land (the dual side land which a disenchant effect or)
You want to run 4 ocelot pride if you run guide of souls. Bis early game threat package

Why is this deck not playing Necro? Feel like the Ajanis and/or Guides could easily go out for 3-4 Necros. Also, is prismatic ending bad now?
White flare can be a response to a lot of the meta including storm.
I think a big issue for Nadu decks is that right now many of them aren't really capable of winning fair games easily--- you can actually lose to terrible sideboard options like harsh mentor and rakdos charm. But, to make themselves more fair and capable of winning games without the combo also makes the deck slower and probably much worse than other combo options.
I think guide of spuls needs other energy cards. Played it il boros energy and there it was rly good

I think guide of souls is a good card in conjunction with the red energy cards, because in those decks it acts as both an enabler and a payoff. looked lackluster this league though.
Is there a world where we get you to make changes to the lists that you dont like, maybe as a breakdown after the laegue?

This deck need some slight tweaking and it could be a house in modern
I don't think guide of souls is great, but turn on guide of souls followed by ajani turn two is better than legend ruling out ajani.
I learned so much watching this video. Fable not being able to copy legends, sorin being 2 mana (I always assumed it to be 3 mana)
Maybe I should start to read my magic cards and not just play them/look at the artwork
lets be honest the only reason Greif is in the deck is that it is completly busted.

I'm not gonna lie, necrodominance looks super bad without sheoldred. Match 1 game 2 ur oponent paid 3 mana to lose the game lol
I think this card doesn't work as a midrange draw engine, modern magic is too efficient - for necrodominance to be good you need to draw like 8 cards in a single turn, otherwise it's a bad phyrexian arena

maybe it's a little weak in this particular deck, all the ETBs have like, bounce anti-synergy lol. really only great on the incarnations. but what do I know
also, agreed that the 4th fable would be better than a lot of these cards, having only 3 fables is just blasphemy

cant wait for the inevitable grief bann in modern and legacy it makes for some of the most BORING GAMES. i own 5 copies in paper and 4 on MTGO too so i say this as someone whos not mad about pricing
I can't speak for legacy but there's no chance it gets banned in modern
i don't think cards that aren't actually overpowered should be banned, I understand that some people don't like the kind of games it creates (i don't either), but i don't think we should be balancing for fun in a competitive format

Bro my main modern friend plays rakdos scam almost exclusively and i play him an I play league almost exclusively and ima tell you know grief ain’t that bad an keeps alot of broken decks in check (mainly combo type decks)
