Some men can’t answer questions,they get irritated and shut down.
I’m thinking, if they’re asked these questions back to back and in an interrogation format and feel the questions are not coming from a loving and supportive place, they might feel under pressure and refuse to answer. Or like the other commenter said, they may not be ok in some way. There’s some finesse required.

Excellent questions. I've been with my guy for over 10 years, married for 5. He's not the most forthcoming dude when it comes to matters below the surface, so I make a point to check in using these questions from time to time. Why is that when someone says anything about what a man needs, many woman never accept it at face value and says a man does need that. It always comes with conditions.

I hear you and agree that these are really good questions to ask. But the information is dependent on how honest and truthful that person really wants to be with you....many people are not honest 🤔 to themselves about themselves!
What does being proud of yourself or not proud mean? It seems people are proud when they had little to nothing to do with the success... For instance a parent that really wasn't there, involved but feeling proud whereas the parent that was all in, feel like they could have done more. So what does, what he's proud of mean?

What's the Most angry you've ever gotten in your whole entire life? Who did you get angry with, and tell me it all about it. One guy told me he got so angry that he lived with the woman and refused to say 1 utter word to her for 4 months. Then he left out and never told her goodbye. That was a deal breaker for me
King, these questions are extremely deep yet, real! They cut to the bone immediately! Listening while you specify, these questions should be asked before, during, and while, exsiting with anyone! Some of us change like the seasons via behaviors versus self awareness! I'm learning to ask, then grant the opportunity for manifestation of these characteristics. While making sure to offer the same in return!
You have a point here. I experience this.. by only returning his same question to him because he let me believe that he is shy. .... so I thought: don't go to extreme and compromising of questions, ... and it hurt not getting his response on his own returned question. I generally find these things out thru conversation. Direct questions can be awkward if you haven’t built up enough trust. If it’s within conversation, you learn so much more than an inquisition.

I asked these questions in a conversational way to gauge insight on his mindset . It provided clarity . For me to make a choice during the dating process. Let’s just say I cut my losses early. Overall he was a great guy, but not functioning at the level I need him for a relationship with me.

This is nice however most men will take this as interrogation and shut down most guys don’t like to be put on the spot so maybe one question a time but certainly not all of them and secession.
That's definitely a two-way street!
Otherwise, one is doing all the pouring/ filling, emptying... And the other's always getting unlimited refills! Which equates to an unbalanced, unhealthy, and/ or even toxic relationships, dynamic, situationship!
I usually agree with most all you share but feel this needs to be included/ clarified... So that the woman/ women don't take on the role of a re-fill station. As that easily draws in predator, or can keep one in an unhealthy dynamic! And that's not what we're after. 🕊️

Start detaching and get as much support so you can leave and never go back, then ask why you allowed it, forgive yourself, heal, forgive the other person too for what they did to you, it was not your fault
