Big fan of Bud. Been following him since he fought Breidis Prescott. I thought it was unbelievable to see a fighter step in on short notice and put on the show he did. Boxing from from either stance, trading shots in the pocket, he was successful doing whatever he wanted. Pound for pound in my opinion.

A B Good comment. I seen them both as great fighters'. Unfortunately, only one of them has the right mentality. And that's Crawford.
Crawford really is special. The fist time I saw him fight…. Before Gamboa. I can’t recall when exactly but I didn’t see how special he was. Then he just kept winning and dominating against everyone he fought. I could see over time just how special he was. Crawford would adapt and do whatever it took to win. Incredible talent and hands down the greatest boxer of this generation.

Good interview, lot of questions answered. They sat on the interview for a minute since Pac vs EJ was still the topic so we're a few days deeper into Bud/Porter negotiations. Purse bug should be happening real soon, I'm hoping the fight is pushed through but it's good to know that if it falls through, like I'm expecting, all he has is one fight left under contract.

More shows with interviews of top guys especially those that are underrated, top notch, don't talk often, aren't, marketed well, etc. Some people don't know switch hitting, purse bids, fighting inside the pocket, etc.

He doesn’t like Arum anymore after what he said about him. Which is why he will likely sign to PBC after the last fight in his contract.
And Bud has been waiting for big fights but Errol and Pac have made it clear that they both refuse to fight Bud cuz they know they will lose.
Errol said it dead to Buds face on camera that he’d rather go the easier route by fighting anyone not named Bud, and Roach said it himself on camera that he doesn’t want Manny to fight Bud cuz Bud is too good. So these fights make no sense cuz they know Bud will derail them.
They refuse to fight Bud UNLESS it’s WORTH IT-so basically, it’s gotta generate TONS of money to be worth it. Otherwise they’re risking a loss for nothing. The money is what’ll be worth the risk. Otherwise they’ll never fight Bud.

The OLD MAN version of Gamboa servived 12 rounds with Haney and 11 rounds with Tank who is known as a power puncher. Bud washed him too outside of getting rocked a lil once. Bud has fought good opponents and he makes all of them look like terrible, that's why people think he is Elite and needs to fight someone else Elite, because against him good ain't good enough

As a European I don't get why so many of his fellow countrymen don't like Bud, I would be proud on such a great guy and one hell of a talent.... Nobody can mess with his talent, Fury says it, Roy says it, Mike says it, everyone knows it - he is the best. I don't get why Spence with his tiny one division 2 belts at age almost 32, with having fought only one healthy and top worldclass opponent of his weightclass (he almost lost against) in his whole boxing life is ranked that high in the pfp list. Bud would so beat him. So I have the feeling Bud is more loved and appreciated outside his country, all these casuals saying he's a diva who don't get that fights are made by promoters and fighters in the end have nothing to say if you don't buy yourself out, like Mayweather and Canelo did. Maybe the Americans don't like technical boxers so much and find them boring and maybe they are more in love the aggressive boxer type, I dont know. Whereas Bud is aggressive too, he just scans like a computer the weaknesses of his opponents the first 5 rounds before he really bites. I find him such a great guy and fighter. This HBO documentary about him, with his Omaha crew and all that is a must see. Very touching. In the end i cant wait the fight, cause he got the chance and he will finally show all the casuals and doubters how much better than Spence he is, by beating Porter fare more convincing than Errol did it

Bud's boxing IQ is off the charts. To understand how switching from orthodox could befuddle his opponent to knowing that switching stances could get him better looks at his target area. The accuracy on his punches from both sides is special.

I pray for errol's recovery and that is understandable. However, to compensate for the frustrations that the boxing community is experiencing right now, Terence Crawford would be a good substitute, not Ugas. I recommend this because after errol, Crawford is the next fight that makes sense to this legacy fight of Pacquiao
A fight with pac vs bud wouldn’t be so easy to negotiate just like that .. Ugas is a hungry champ. And he’s in PBC , for pac it was the only fight that made sense as far as finding a replacement
