Nahhh I have two of the same mags, one in black and one in FDE and neither have any red lines on the springs. And they’ve never been messed with other than pulling out of the bag and loading
Tbh : as a PROFESSIONAL forklift driver person , I would have just took that for some kind of manufacture proof mark or consequence of the manufacturing process or something lol. I’ve always wandered about that myself but I don’t own any . I got like 20 windowless and I have zero ops so why buy more right lol
There should be paint on the spring that’s what you judge by.when you fire a few rounds it should line up with 25. I thought the same thing though when I first got one myself
you might not see any rounds in the mag after shooting/removing 15rds, but you do still see the orange mark on the spring indicating how full/low the magazine is which is still more helpful then not knowing how many rounds you have left at all like a standard p mag.@@xxxod
Hey man I'm an idiot too I don't own one of these magpul window mags but I never knew about the painted spring line as an indicator so we have been educated, good sir.
Thats a compensator line - on a full load when the brass can no longer be seen in the top of the window you still have ammo in the mag you just can’t see it because of the mag well so the powder coated line on the spring is marked below the full 30 rounds that comp line will be on 25 when you only have 25 rounds left or 10 so on and so forth
They line up correctly once you insert them into the mag well and pump the sniper button a few times. You might also have to cycle the shoulder thing that goes up once or twice.
@Adventure3Man you don't know about the sniper button? How else are you supposed to get a rifle that weighs as much as 10 boxes that you might move with to shoot accurately?
@Richthofen.115 the "sniper button" "shoulder thing that goes up" and the comment about an AR weighing as much as 10 boxes are all comments made by anti gun politicians who claimed to be gun experts but unintentionally proved they knew very little about firearms. The creator of this video made a mistake, and I'm throwing a jab at him for fun.
If you load 20 rounds in it, then look through the window and the spring arm that is matched up with the mark in the window labeled 20! This is the Spring arm that should be painted, if it isn't painted already...
I've seen people have this issue with cz .223 mags as well, you're not supposed to look at either the rounds or the follower, there's a line on the spring that actually shows the round count, you're not an idiot it's just not obvious at first
No one is born with all the knowledge apparently you have. This is someone asking legitimate questions and instead of being reasonable and sharing your wealth of knowledge, you decide to be an ass.
Except you're missing the point there is a marker on the follower size spring that you use to read those marks so it gives you an idea of how many rounds you have left
everyone is talking about the line on the spring , I got news for y'all , not all of them came with line on the spring , I bought 10 of them and only one of them shows a line on the spring .

Hahaha at least he said "am I just an idiot"
I didn’t see his marker on the spring. Tho he may have changed the spring lol
Nahhh I have two of the same mags, one in black and one in FDE and neither have any red lines on the springs. And they’ve never been messed with other than pulling out of the bag and loading
@EazyEDC are they Magpul? If so they probably put the wrong springs in yours with no marker. I have many of these and all mine are marked
Yep I have… allot.. and their all marked orangish red
Look for the orange marker in the spring as you start taking rounds out.

Orange line tells you your rounds. The orange line is the fuel gauge for your mag.
Did anyone mention the line on the spring yet?
There's a line on the spring
this guy took the "I posted the wrong answer so someone would tell me the right answer" idea to build engagement. Genius tbh.
So much click bait these days... but it works in a monetary sense.
Exactly
Exactly img going to block him what a manipulative guy. No way he has good content with bs like this

THESE MAGS ARE USELESS.... WHEN YOU FIRE 15 ROUNDS THE WINDOW NO LONGER SHOWS ANYTHING
JUST BUY REGULAR PMAGS

Bruh you know to read the orange line on the spring. This is shameless engagement farming
“Let me post a video on how the best mags in the world suck. Or wait am I just an idiot” - this guy
You should be looking at the painted spring piece, not the boolits
😂😂"Boolits" 😂😂 "Ya Mon" 😅
Gotta be bait, literally has an orange marker in the spring that gives a pretty good estimate
Hey man I'm an idiot too I don't own one of these magpul window mags but I never knew about the painted spring line as an indicator so we have been educated, good sir.
Why didn't you show the colored part of the spring click bait lol
Terrifying to think that you can own a firearm but can’t figure this one out..
It’s the line you look at
You sir, are a doorknob
Thanks, had a good laugh at that!😂
There should be a colored spring wire. That’s your indicator
You are the Clickbait King, sir.
The open space is to confuse you're enemy. If it can confuse you it can confuse them. The end point being pointless.
I don't see any ammo in the enemy gun they are out i counted their shots they aren't reload run now push B.
And I'll start going long

The bottom bullet isn’t your gauge, the spring is
After you pull the trigger thing ten times,(ten Booms) the red paint thing should be near the 20 mark💡💡
Stay away from my daughter.
Very clever way to rack up the comments, sir. My hat is off to you.
Maximum Trolling
Sending hate 🥰
Mine have a red line on the spring it won’t register till 25🤷🏻
Holy shit maybe some people really shouldn’t have guns.
Or perhaps the line should be more visible.
If no one tells you, how are you supposed to know? Cool your jets home boy.
I predominantly rock windowed PMAGs, there's an orange line on the spring to give you that readout.
Magpul uses a different and cool number system
The red line on the spring is the counter
Mine only counts to 10, I want a refund...
you must be in a liberal state
@@thatonegearguyIlliberal, honestly. Our F&F were the definition of true Liberal. These control freaks are as far from it as they can get.
Do you not see the red mark on the spring? That's your indicator.
Tell me you don’t know how it works without telling me you don’t know how it works
Dats why they have a fuel gauge option for more money. It’s full.

Me going by the weight of the mag to estimate how many pews it has left
This is the same guy that puts mag extensions on 30 rd pmags.
Orange line on the spring lmao
You're reading it wrong.
Trust your round count instead of relying on a gimmick. No one is going to look at their mag in a fight.
I wouldn’t go so far as call you an idiot but rather you’re mistaken 😂
The spring has a red/orange line marking an approximate remaining round count.
If you load 20 rounds in it, then look through the window and the spring arm that is matched up with the mark in the window labeled 20!

You read the orange mark on the spring my guy 😂
The orange line on the spring indicates the amount.
It's a special CZcams complaint mag 😊
Your reading it wrong.
Bro.. that's the mag's spring so it could push the rounds into the chamber each time it was reject a round...
First, no don't trust it super accurately. Second part of the spring is painted orange

I don't think I would call you an idiot, but you're definitely reading it wrong!
Red paint on the spring is the indicator
My mags dont talk to me either. Where do the batteries go? Lol
I remember a time when people made videos that actually knew what they were talking about. Now people just make videos saying whatever they want.
There is no instruction or mention of the red marker on the magazine packaging.
Well, now magpul makes a clear mag just like cancer. Problem solved!😊
The red mark on the spring is what you read not the bottom round, shit confused me too at first not gonna lie lol
That always tickled my twins!
I have about 18 of these mags. All mine have a orangish, red mark on the spring indicating how many rounds you have left.
Engagement baiting is crazy
look at the alignment of the bottom of follower and the mark on the spring... it makes perfect sense.
Damn. Here I thought you were knowledgeable but these shorts are really changing my mind. 🙄
Thought the same exact thing.

It’s orange at the end of the spring lol
CZcams friendly magazine wink wink
There's a red line painted on the Spring.
Your definitely reading it wrong look for the orange spring
There’s an orange marker on the spring.
Are they genuine magpul mags? Should have a red/orange line on the spring to determine count.
It's supposed to have a Spring that has an arm or line painted - (Usually Red or Orange) that painted spring leaf shows the Correct ammo count!
did you not see the red spring moving down as you loaded? Or is this just clickbait bullshit?
So we should not buy a super reliable magazine because the rd count may be off?
There's a little indicator on the spring.. 😓
Red line on spring. Slow down and pull 5 out
Something is wrong with yours. Mine doesn’t do that
Always trust these mags.
Wrong spring bud
It's room for the spring
I didn't know this either. Thanks to everyone!!
You are there's painted spot on the spring that shows the capacity
To top of that space is 25
marker on the spring bubba
I didn't know it but apparently theres a line on the mag. Just be like the poors and drill holes in the side of your gen 2 pmags 😂😂
he knows - he's just joking
I’d be embarrassed of this video and would have taken it down by now.
Ammoflation very sad
Yeaah, same with mine. Never understood that..... and even with the orange lining in the spring, its still incorrect...
Yeah, you're reading it wrong. The bright red indicator indicates where you're at. Like indicators do
