one day about 10 years ago I decided to take up duck hunting, I am the only hunter in my family so I had nobody to show me the ropes, I bought a black lab and trained him my self then a dozen decoys, a few calls and an old leaky Jon boat. Needless to say I didn't shoot a single duck, the next year I joined DU to be surrounded by people who have years of experience. Then the following year I took my states Optional Waterfowl ID course (which in my opinion should be mandatory). Every year it seemed there was a new lesson to be learned, how to conceal my blind, how to set the decoys, how and when to call. Last year I went out of work due to a knee injury, I discovered your channel, I had nothing better to do as I was laid up on the couch so I binged watched your videos, even watched some multiple times to drive the point deeper in my head. Last duck season was a weird warm season in NY, but I used the lessons learned in your videos and had the most successful season of my hunting career and I got 4 new people to come with me including 2 Deer hunting buddies who "would never hunt such a stupid animal" addicted to it as well. Thank you and Keep up the good work!

Yep, have had ducks on the brain for a solid month now... Already got the calls out and started practicing again! I've got several young hunters who are diving in head first this season who have asked me to help them out with their properties and hunting strategies, so I've got a lot of new things this year to be excited about!
I really wish I could shoot bismuth, but I just can’t afford it over steel. With steel I only shoot in the decoys and let the ducks work. Had a few cripples last year but not many, always makes me feel bad when that happens. I did used to hunt with guys that would try to sky bust them, needless to say I don’t hunt with them anymore.
I’m very excited to say my muller chokes are on the way.
I Will be posting my own video to see how they stack up against my current favorite.

You should make a video on where to hunt teal when marshes are dry. Huge issue the past 4 years in missouri. Only water they get is during the spring.
Hey man thanks for all the work you put into your content it's hard to find content that is as in depth as I would like and you always exceed my expectations my first waterfowl hunt begins in a few days and thanks too you I have an absolute ARSENAL of knowledge to go in with and am confident I will be able to take birds with what you've given me would love to send you pictures if i get one so you can show others that without any help other than your videos( and if you're like me previous experience as an outdoorsman) 1 individual can enter the world of waterfowl learn it utilize the information and be successful gonna take a stab at Green Wing Teal and Geese goodluck to you in your upcoming season

Love your shotgun series. I would love to see you cut open several brands of waterfowl loads to compare shot size. I know that if you do that with buckshot your eyes will be opened. Some companies 00 will actually measure .32 caliber or less. Yet most charts will label 00 as .33 caliber. I know the difference between a #2 and #3 pellet may not be much. But I bet you would find some amazing differences. You may find what one company sells as a #3 another company my label as a #4.

Second - as a husky man would the new waders even fit the bigger hunters? What about for my lady? Do they have lady sizes coming?

Man, I just wish I could trust boss shotshells but with purchasing almost 1000 rounds of shells, and having almost 75 dented primers between five different $2000 shotguns every namebrand I just don’t trust them to go off

Another great video! I definitely am glad I saw your HnD recommendation and hope their quality stays as awesome as it is!! The cutdown call videos were a game changer. I will be testing and patterning Boss Shorties in my 12 gauge this year.
Did you try any other waders besides high n dry?

Those were on my list to try before I discovered HnD but did not get my hands on them. May still be around a pair because I have a friend that’s a gear junky too.

This is Steve - outstanding as always. Saw you in Wildfowl and did notice the zip waders. My issue - I already have the HnD nonzip waders that are just as good as they were on day 1. I don't know if I can justify another pair - bad problem right? Dang it!
Muller chokes - I bought for 20 and 12 as well as a few of my buddies after they saw your video and talked to me. They were sold! And bought!

@@xboxsavage1175 I’m a bass fisherman and I’ve been through many waders. I won my High and Dry from a guessing contest on this channel. Best I’ve ever owned. I just picked up 2 pair of camo waders about 30 minutes ago for free from a guy who posted them in our towns Facebook group. Heavy duty Redhead and the other a Heavy duty Cabelas. Hopefully they don’t leak. They look great. Only reason I was probably lucky enough to get them before someone else is because they’re size 13 which don’t fit most people. Fit me perfectly.
Do you buy new decoys or repaint them? If you repaint them do you use a pant gun or spray paint? If you use a paint gun what type?
What I want to now is when is boss coming to Britain

They only sell direct off their website. So you can certainly order there. I suggest you contact (call or email) them for helping you get the best fit, so there would be no reason for a return.

What makes you choose Boss over Hevi XII? I would think the density of Hevi xii would be preferable. Both has a similar street price about $2 per shell.
Patterning was my reason for choosing boss
